Kawaki’s POV

Why does she want to sit next to me? She’s such a pain in the ass… I can’t concentrate when she’s so close. I was just waiting for this school to finally end…

"Ehemm, class. Next week will be the last warm September. Then it cools down and temperatures are low. That's why I decided to take you on a nature trip to the sea, where we will study sea plants and animals. Get your swimsuit ready for next Friday, okay?" said Shino-sensei.

"Sea, what is that?" I asked. I've never seen the sea. How does it look like? Everyone looked at me.

"Really? You don’t know a sea? You are a poor thing, really," said some blonde asshole.

"Kawaki, I’m glad I can explain it to you. We can say the sea is a larger lake with sea water. You will definitely like it there." He’s really trying. Tss. Another unknown thing. I don’t like it.

"Fine, I guess I have no other choice."

"You will definitely learn a lot there. We're mainly going on a trip to learn, so no fooling around, Boruto."

"As I would have time for this-ttebasa."

"All right, Sumire, you will watch over them. I'd say you're the most sensible in the class. Sarada, you will help her."

"Hai!" Sumire was nervous about it.

"M-me? And watch over them? They don’t even respect me…" She looked at some girls who frowned at her.

"Don’t worry, I’ll help you." What did I just say?!

"R-really?" She blushed.

"T-that would be great. Sarada-chan is a girl too. I think we will have problems with the boys…" Why is she so nervous? That makes me nervous too.

"Good, in the meantime, I'll catch a few beetles to explore, you can join me." No response.

"I see… No one shares my hobby…" He was depressed.

"I’ll join you, Shibo-sensei."

"Not you, Mitsuki…" That pale bastard smiled. After school ended, I finally went home. I hate it there.

"Wait, Kawaki!" Sumire ran after me.

"What do you want?"

"Hmm? Just to go with you."

"Mind your own business, witch."

"It’s not just your business anymore, Kawaki. Ever since you found the people who care for you." Huh?

"I guess…"

"By the way, do you have swimsuit?"

"And that’s what?"

"Huh? Clothes for water…"

"I don’t need anything like that…"

"Then I’m sure Boruto-kun would lend you some… Or!"

"Or?" She looked in her bag. She pulled out her wallet.

"Where did you get so much money?! Don’t tell me you stole it!"

"I’m not you, Kawaki…" She probably didn't mean it badly, but it hurt a little.

"I see. Then why are you even messing with me?"

"I’m not you and you are not me. That’s what I like about you. You're completely different from me. And that draws me to you." What did she just say?

"Uhh, okay."

"I have money from Hinata-san. She gave me pocket money for help in the house." She smiled.

"I see. So you can get money for working."

"You can also try it. Money always comes in handy. Especially now…"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm sure when I‘m eighteen, my dad's debts will fall on me. And there were not a few of them. We lost the house because of them. I have to start saving. In fact, I have to get a part-time job."

"I didn’t know that."

*That’s not your fault, but, Kawaki. You're probably not debt free either, aren't you?"

"I have no debts unless the thefts of me and my father are counted."

"I'm afraid they are."

"I thought that. Well, I don’t want to sit on my ass all day too. I’ll find a part-time job too." She nodded.

"Umm, let’s find part-time job together." Together?

"Let's go to the mall! I’ll find you some swimsuit!" She was thrilled.

"You don’t have to, it’s embarassing!"

"Come on, don‘t be like that. We'll enjoy it!"

"Tss, fine. I don’t think I have other choice."

"Yay!" A smile appeared on her face. She was still sad at first. It's nice to see her from this side as well. When we got there, I felt anxious.

"So many people in one place…" Sumire took my hand.

"Hey, what do you think you are doing?!"

"Well, you were so nervous so I wanted to make you feel better…"

"It’s enough that I have to be here, don’t touch me!"

"A-all right." I guess I upset her. But then I was fine. Maybe that touch… Suddenly I saw bodyguards.

"Damn, we should ran away!"

"Huh? We did nothing wrong. We have no reason to…"

"They are watching us!"

"It’s probably because we are teenagers…"

"I don’t trust them."

"It’ll be fine, don’t worry." Tss. Fortunately, they did not follow us.

"Swimsuit, swimsuit…"

"Do you have to say it so loud?"

"Huh? It’s normal clothing. You don’t have to be ashamed." I frowned at her.

"Look, I found one. It could be your size."

"That’s all? Where is the next part?"

"The swimsuit contains as little clothing as possible so that you can swim with ease."

"I see."

"Put this on."

"Like here?!" She pointed at the booths.

"Oh…" I went to change. Geez, it’s so annoying.
