Chapter 2: Why, Boruto, why?

Boruto’s POV

Tss, why does Kawaki have to ruin everything?! It’s supposed to be me! Dad and Kawaki left. Kawaki went to prepare for the wedding or something… But I won’t let this happen… And first, I'll write something interesting, Sumire… I took my phone.

Boruto’s POV

I went to their prison. He should be here. He was there, but there were two guards. No, it was uncle Neji and Toneri-san.

"I still don’t understand why Naruto changed our mission. We should be spying with Sasuke."

"You should trust him, Toneri. He knows what he’s doing. Although I don’t like the fact I have to be here with you. I can’t believe you manipulated Hinata-sama."

"Itachi, what happened? Boruto lost? How?" Heheh, I was watching their stupid cameras. They won't find me that easily. Suddenly they left. Good thing uncle Itachi is looking over them. I went to his cell.

"Hmm? Little brat of Uzumaki Naruto, why?"

"I won’t let Kawaki marry your daughter. I’ll get you out of here if you’ll let me marry her. That’s the deal." He smirked. Why?

"All right, we have a deal. Now unlock me." I wanted to, but… suddenly someone appeared behind me.

"Thank you, Itachi, I knew Boruto won’t be on our side after the love potion. Naruto is too naive." Uncle Neji?

"Huh? Why?! I thought you were looking for me?!"

"Yeah, but Shisui noticed something is weird. You won’t get out of this, Boruto!"

"Like I will let you take me!" I ran away. They ran after me. But at least I managed to unlock Amado. He just waited for the right moment. Suddenly I bumped into someone.

"Hinata’s son, nice to meet you." He’s so pale.

"Toneri-san? Let me go! I know you liked my mom!"

"That’s in the past. Right now you are ruining our plan. Are you trying to kill your father?" Huh? I didn’t think about this…

"I don’t believe you. Dad wouldn’t die so easily."

"That’s maybe true, but with a rat here it’s possible." He grabbed my arm.

"I won’t let you go." Tss. I almost got them. But at least Amado…

"Boruto! How could you unlock Eida’s father?! I’m really disappointed of you… And I’m sure your mom will be too." Uncle Neji… he ruined my plan. Amado is imprisoned again. Now I have no chance to try something. They’ll watch over me all the time now. Uncle Neji even snitched me to my father. Geez.
