"y/n, is that you?" 

"no,"

"oh my god, I haven't met you since high school, how have you been?" she asked, trying to make small talk.

oh gosh.
stop being friendly with me.
I know you still hate me.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Now, are you ready to make an order?"

" No, not yet... I'm waiting for someone"

My mind suddenly thought of him when she said that. 

It's already 5 years, it couldn't be him though, right?

"Excuse me," 

a man said behind me. My heart shattered when I recognized the voice. I didn't want to see him yet, so I quickly walked away while hiding my face. When I finally made my way to the counter, I took a glance at the table earlier.

It's him,

It's really him.

~flashback 

"kim y/n is such an asshole"

a smile flickered on my face, looking at my name plastered over the school's bathroom every day. Well, it's true. 

who was known as a playgirl ever in the school?

Yup, that's right.

It's me,
and guess what?

I just dumped Lee Juyeon last week, interesting isn't it?

I stared once again at the word "asshole" on the bathroom door. Well, whoever it was, they're just coward. Speak it in front of my face duh🙄 then, when I walked out from there, no one even took a glance at me. 

Well, they're busy with the new kid,

Kim Younghoon.

so, that Younghoon guy was really pissing me off.

The next day, Younghoon's name was still spreading like crazy. Everyone was making such a fuss but no one still dared to talk to him. Well, it's my chance.

I walked in and pulled a chair in front of him. Then, I already heard people whispering and I smiled, looking at him.

"hi," he quietly mumbled.

"hey,"

"I'm Younghoon,"

"I'm y/n, nice to meet you"

"hey!" 

I saw him rushed towards me, holding a bouquet of flowers as he handed it to me.

"I picked this for you, it's purple lilacs by the way," he said, not daring to make eye contact with me. 

how cute.

"why?" I asked him plainly, but he just shook his head, scratching his neck shyly.

an: purple lilacs represents first love uwu 😊

"Thanks, I guess"

so far, so great!

I already got him to take me on our first date,

so easy😏

we walked to the park together, then Younghoon suddenly stopped in front of me.

"y/n, can I take a picture of you?"

"yeah sure, should I pose for it?" I joked.

"that'd be great" he smiled, taking some pictures as he took a look at them.

"you are really pretty," 

he still kept a smile while looking at those pictures as I looked at him.

"Younghoon, why are you acting so nice to me?"

"why? are you not used to someone being nice towards you?"

"no, I'm not. Everyone's faking it and I hate it"

"well," he looked at me, holding my hand as he continued,

"they're just pretending to treat you nice so they feel like they're a good person,"

"is that what you're doing to me?"

he chuckled "no,"

"then, if you're doing this because you feel bad for me, I don't need your pity,"

"y/n, I'm not,

I meant it"

"Wow, you've changed," someone walked towards me, smirking.

"and what? You're obsessed with me, Juyeon?"

he chuckled, looking at me. " well, what if i am?"

I rolled my eyes while he continued speaking.

"so, how's the new sunbae? is he too good for you until you aren't dating him yet?"

younghoon?

"well, he isn't my type actually... I could just reject him if he confessed to me soon"

"Pfft, stop lying y/n... I know you're falling for him," Juyeon smirked.

"Hey, h-how's about Mina, your new girlfriend huh?" I spoke, trying to change the topic as then he chuckled again.

"I'm right then,

you like him too,"

"hey, you're here"

I just put on a plain smile on my face as Younghoon looked at me, nervously.

"so why are you want to meet me?"

then, he hold out the bouquet of purple lilacs in front of me while he said,

"y/n, I like you, you're my first love"

and, 

that was the first time,
my heart beating so fast when someone confessed to me.

"I'm sorry Younghoon, but I don't like you,"

You're too good for me,
I can't hurt you, I'm sorry.
