December 24th Wayne Manor 14:45
Helena was sitting in her room until she heard a knock on the door. She turned around to find Damian standing in her doorway
"What is it?" Helena asked
"I need your help" Damian muttered
"You, your asking for my help" Helena said
"Yeah, now are you going to help me" Damian asked
"What do you need help with" Helena asked
"I still need to get Kent a gift, I don't know what to get him" Damian said
"Then let's go find one, your usually on top of things like this" Helena said
"Yeah well I don't know what to do, so can you please get up" Damian replied
Helena got up and grabbed her jacket as she left her room with Damian. They made their way to the front door where Alfred offered to drive them to the mall which they took him up on. After half an hour of driving they arrived at the mall and began walking around, Helena occasionally making fun of Damian with his limp and cane.
"I'm not above hitting you with it" Damian said
"But you won't" Helena replied
"And why is that" Damian asked
"Because of the amount of people here watching us" Helena said
"Has that ever stopped me before" Damian asked
"No but you got in major trouble the last time you attacked one of us in public" Helena said
"I'm still waiting to hear that reason for not hitting you" Damian said
"I'm helping you find a gift for your fiancé on Christmas Eve, is that a good enough reason" Helena asked
"Your safe, for now" Damian replied
They spent the rest of the evening walking in and out of shops, Helena buying stuff for herself and a few last minute gifts while Damian searched for something for Jon when he found it something he knew Jon had been looking for so he bought it.
"Let's go get food I'm hungry" Helena said
"We could just get food at home" Damian replied
"That's no fun and by the way your buying because I've spent most of my money" Helena said
"Tt, great" Damian sighed following her
They found a nice little cafe to sit in and eat
"So do you really need that cane still" Helena asked
"I don't think so but father and Alfred do" Damian replied
"If you don't why do you have a limp still" Helena asked
"Because of reasons" Damian replied
"So your still injured" Helena laughed
"Tt, yes fine I'm still injured" Damian spat
"You could get Z, Raven, Constantine or Zack to look at it and heal it with magic" Helena suggested
"Why would I do that, when it's already healing" Damian asked
"So Jon doesn't have to manhandle you, I thought you hated that" Helena said
"I don't, I pretend to. I like it when he holds me close, I feel warm inside" Damian said
"Aww, that's sooo adorable big bro" Helena said
"Don't ever repeat that to anyone and don't ever call me big bro again" Damian said
