September 3rd West-Reeve Elementary
Damian and Jon had let the twins walk from the elementary school to their while they dropped David off for his first day. They walked him into his classroom and went to leave him but he had latched onto Damian's leg and was not letting go.
"David you need to let go of Daddy's leg" Damian said
"No, I'm staying with you" David said
"David, let go now, we have to go but we will be back for you later" Jon said
"No I'm staying with Daddy" David said
"Fine, but Daddy needs to go to the toilet and he'll be back later" Damian said
"Okay" David said
"Make some friends" Jon said
David not knowing that Damian and Jon were actually leaving turned around and began to interact with some of the other kids
"I don't condone what you just did, but it seems to have worked" a woman said
"And you are" Damian asked
"Ms.Williams, your sons teacher" she replied
"I'm Jon and this is Damian" Jon said
"Well it's very nice to meet you two, I'd leave before he turns back around. And don't worry I'll look out for him" Ms.Williams said
"Thank you" Damian said as they left and ran to the car
"Ha, the teacher caught you lying" Jon said laughing
"Shut up" Damian said
"Just like the good old days" Jon said
"I feel bad now, I feel worse then I did when we dropped the twins off on their first day" Damian said
"Does someone need a hug" Jon asked
"Yes, yes someone does" Damian replied
Jon leaned over and gave Damian a hug and kissed him on the cheek
"Can we start driving now" Damian asked
"Yes we can, where too" Jon asked
"Anywhere" Damian replied
"I think we should get and I'm sorry for abandoning you at school cake" Jon said
Which caused Damian to stare at him
"Too soon" Jon said
"Just drive" Damian said
They drove around and did a few bits and pieces before heading back to the school to collect David. Jon waited in the car for the twins to come while Damian went to get David
"Did you enjoy your day" Damian asked taking his hand
"Yeah it was so much fun, I made two new friends, Lucas and Georgie and we played all day. Can I come again" David asked
"David this is school, your coming here almost everyday of the year" Damian said
"Really" he replied
"Really, but I need to know did you miss me" Damian asked
"Yeah but, I had more fun without you there but now I get to cuddle with you at home" David said
"Yeah you do, I'll race you to the car" Damian said
"Your going to lose" David said
They both took off running towards the car and Damian let David win, when they were just outside they heard Tommy and Ellie fighting in the car
