“Kanina ka pa ba rito?”

I immediately slip the sticky note inside of my uniform skirt’s pocket when Fe suddenly appeared in front of me. I forced a laugh at her and shook my head as an answer. I felt so nervous right now! I think I should tell Fe about it!

“Hindi naman,”

“I’m so excited to eat my lunch today!” She intertwined her hands together after she took out her lunchbox from the paper bag and placed it on the table. “Si Kuya kasi ‘yong nagluto nito!” She said happily.

Napalunok ako. Does that mean we’ll be having the same lunch today?! Lihim kong ibinaba ang paper bag na may lamang lunch sa loob na bigay ni Vico. Mag-oorder na lang siguro ako ng lunch. Pero bago ko pa man tuluyang maibaba ang paper bag, nahawakan na ni Fe ang kamay ko.

“Anong ginagawa mo, Seah?”

My eyes dilated at her. “Ah,” I chuckled nervously. “Binababa ko lang-“

“Kumain ka na. Malapit na matapos ang lunch break natin.”

Napa-check ako sa phone ko at nakitang tama nga siya. Oh, God! What should I do now?

I swallowed hard. “O-okay,” I slowly place the paper bag on the table. I saw her staring at it for a bit before nodding quietly, which makes me more nervous. “Hmm.. p-pareho ‘ata tayo ng lunch ngayon.” I chuckled to hide my nervousness.

She nodded while chewing her food. “Yeah, Kuya cooked that too.”

My eyes dilated at her. Alam niya na pala? Napangiwi tuloy ako sa hiya. Pakiramdam ko sobrang init na ng tainga ko ngayon! Hindi man lang siya nagtanong! Sinabi siguro ni Vico sa kanya.

Kinagabihan, pagkatapos kong kumain ng hapunan umakyat muna ako sa kuwarto ko para mag-shower. Hindi pa nakauwi si Ate kaya maliligo na lang ako para hindi ako antukin kakahintay sa kanya sa living room. Bumaba na ako pagkatapos kong maligo. Sakto namang nakauwi na siya at nakaupo sa sofa habang may binabasa sa phone niya.

“Ate, may sasabihin ako sa’yo.” Umupo ako sa sofa’ng kaharap ng sa kanya.

“Hmm? Ano ‘yon?” She glances at me.

“May manliligaw ako-“

“That’s normal, love.” She chuckled at me like I looked amusing for telling it to her.

“It’s not that what you think. This suitor isn’t just a normal per-“

She stopped looking on her phone and looked at me with dilated eyes. “Huh?”

“Viscount’s courting me!” I said with eyes close.

“I know.” She giggled and bring back her gaze on her phone.

I blinked several times while looking at her. Seriously? She already knows? How? Sinabi ba ni Vico sa kanya?

“Sana all! Niligawan lang hindi na nickname ‘yong itinatawag! First name na!” She said loudly in a teasing tone.
