School was back to being awkward when I was around Kozume since he called me that one night. How was I supposed to act when he just randomly calls his ex girlfriend? he's the one who dumped me, not the other way around. I gave him back his hoodie and that was really all the contact I wanted with him anymore.

He finally said something on his social media after coming back from his hiatus. Although, it wasn't about our relationship status, no no, it was just a simple "hey".

And it's crazy how one simple word could garner 250k retweets.

People kept asking and asking either of us for an update, but I chose to ignore it. if he didn't want to say anything, then I wouldn't either. Especially knowing how if he doesn't mention it he probably doesn't want it or something along the lines of that.

Another thing that I've been laughing about is how rumors fly around school.

I guess someone spotted Matsuomoto and I at the mall the other day, and thought we were on a date. Words fly and things get around.

"hey, how many people asked you if we were dating today?" Matsuomoto laughed as he approached me.

"I think 5, I've lost count though" I giggled, pulling on my club jacket over my shirt and picking up my backpack from the back of my chair.

"I have had three, but I think a few other people tried to approach me but I walked away on accident" he laughed at himself

"well, I think these rumors are getting out of hand" I looked over to him as we walked towards the sports areas of the school.

"definitely right about that" he nodded, running his hand through his dark brown hair.

We walked in a comfortable silence for a couple of minutes before we made it to the volleyball gym.

"walk home together after practice?" Matsuomoto asked, looking up to me since I was at the top of the stairs, so I was taller than him.

"yup, for sure!" I smiled, giving him a quick wave goodbye before walking into the gym.

"Kireina-chan!!" Lev happily approached me.

"hi Lev-kun, I take it you've had a good day?"

"yeah, actually, I have," he gave me a bright smile, "how about you?"

I laughed since I couldn't help but be reminded of Hinata when Lev was happy, "I've had an okay day"

"oh, I forgot to ask you yesterday, but are you and Matsuomoto-senpai dating?"

"no, we're just friends" snickered

and that'll make number 6.

walking into the supply closet a pull out the net and ball cart. When I pushed open the door to head out Akane dropped her bag off on the bleachers and headed over to help me out. She took the bottom half of the net from me and walked over to the grooves in the gym floor to place the poles into.

"sorry I didn't get here early enough to get all this out for you" Akane apologized as she locked the pole on her side of the net in place.

"no, don't worry about it! you're not the only manager, so don't feel like this all rests on your shoulders!"

"but I'm a newbie, I should be working extra hard!"

I just laughed, thinking back onto when I began managing here, and how it was actually just me being roped into it. Her enthusiasm is definitely refreshing.
