"kireina-chan!!!!" yamamoto screamed as you walked up to the bus early in the morning. the team had a practice match against karasuno.
"good morning yamamoto-san" you waved, setting your bag down in a seat on the bus.
"aaaahhhh good morning kireina-chan" kuroo said, which caused you to turn your head to see the captain.
"hey kuroo, your bed head actually fits the situation now" you snicker, causing kuroo to narrow his eyes at you as a joke
"i'm going to find kenma," kuroo commented,"he's been M.I.A. since we both walked here"
"do you have any idea where he could be?"
"nah, but i actually just remembered oni-senpai wanted to talk to me about something, so could you do me a favor and go look for kenma"
"how much are you gonna pay me?"
"nothing, you're the manager, that's just part of the job you signed up for" and with that kuroo pushed you out of the bus and off to go look for kenma.
you walked around the school perimeter looking for kenma for a few minutes, you racked your brain, trying to think of where the pretty setter would be.
'if i were a cute, quiet boy where would i hide?....wait DID I JUST SAY CUTE??!?' you questioned yourself in your mind. unknowingly letting your conscience guide your body.
you eventually found yourself at the top of the stairwell to the roof of the school. you sighed to yourself questioning why you'd be there of all places, but you then heard a noise from the other side of the door, the audio of the game over sound to your favorite game. you decide to investigate, so you push open the door and begin to walk onto the roof, you end up skidding, and tripping. you thought you were going to fall to the plateau on the roof but you didn't, you felt two arms wrap around you tightly, and then help you get your balance.
you look up to meet a pair of golden eyes, the color only being accentuated by the early morning sun.
"u-uhm, uh-ah-um t-th-thanks" you better out with a bright red blush across your face
"no problem," kenma said removing his hold from you ," if kuro sent you to look for me, then i was just about to head back to the bus" kenma quietly said putting his psp away since he didn't get the chance to earlier.
you both walked back to the bus in silence, your blush hadn't faded and you couldn't get a glimpse of kenma's face to see if he was blushing. as you both got back to the bus, kuroo sent you a smirk and questioning look combined into one. you sat down, but kuroo had moved your bag into the window seat next to kenma's and neither of you noticed, kuroo took the seat in front of you.
"sooo...what took you guys so long?!" kuroo questioned in a 'spill the tea' sort of tone
"i couldn't find kenma for a while" you replied
"oh really sure, i bet he was at the first place you checked"
you turned to kenma, with a snarky voice "well, i guess you were actually at the benches in the back instead of on the roof"
"i guess so" kenma laughed
kuroo shot you both a glare.
as you all got out of the bus at karasuno, a bald guy ran towards you 'kinda looks like Yamamoto' you thought
"YAMAMOTO REALLY WAS'NT LYING ABOUT THEM GETTING A HOT MANAGER!!!!" the guy shouted
'just as loud too' you said to yourself sweat dropping
"TANAKA!!!!" a guy with brown short hair shouted. he looked like the dad of the team, a grey haired boy stood behind him with a mother-like warning look on his face
'oh look, it's a y'all yaku-san' you said and laughed to yourself.
"I KNOW RIGHT!!!!" yamamoto beamed from the bus, he'd just gotten off
'oh lord'
"YAMAMOTO!" kuroo shouted, shaking his head. you all headed into the gym and the practice game commenced.
the rest of the day went on with yamamoto and tanaka tailing you around, and a little tangerine-boy has endless energy, so the team worked themselves to exhaustion.
"ONE MORE!!!" the tangerine and his setter friend shouted, oji-san was amazed, although their quick attack was amazing, it was even more impressive that they could keep going. oji-san ended up declining their request and you all were packing up to go home.
As the bus was driving home, the team decided it would be a good idea to prank you.
"hey has anyone seen kenma?" yaku mentioned
"huh, now that i think of it, no" kuroo replied
"wait! you're telling me that you've all just forgotten your setter?!?!" you snapped
"uh-um, i guess so" inuoka stammered
"ARE YOU ALL KIDDING ME!!!!" you roared
"kireina-mei, what's wrong?" nekomata looked at you
"they forgot kenma!" a state of panic rushed into you
"to be fair it's your job to keep track of us all" kuroo sneakily said
"kireina-mei, what do you mean they forgot kenma, he's up here" nekomata pointed around kenma, who was hidden behind all of the teams' bags
you glared at kuroo, yaku, and inuoka
"care to explain" you said through gritted teeth
"well, ahaha, uhm, you see, yeah...uhm, funny story...yeah...uhm we tried to prank you" kuroo said and then nervously laughed
"you're all DEAD" you said as you chucked your pen at kuroo's head and hit him square in the face.
kuroo, yaku and inuoka were too afraid to go to school the next day becuase they knew you'd be going on a rampage. so instead you waited until they came back to exact revenge.
by the end of the week, all three boys ended up getting a nice bath in the school's fountain. but kuroo's fan girls didn't mind his misfortune, although he was blissfully unaware, because let's be honest, kuroo never pays attention to stuff like that.
