once you and kenma finished breakfast you were going to get up and do the dishes until you'd realized kenma managed to sneak around without you noticing and grab a hold of your waist. he gently tugged you down and into his arms
"what is it with you being so cuddly today?" you laughed a little at your boyfriend being so cute
"i just like cuddles and being warm, that's all," he said pulling you closer as he nuzzled his face into your neck, "want to go on that date I'd mentioned earlier?"
"well, in order to do that kenma, you have to let me go do the dishes and get ready"
"mmm...maybe in a minute" he replied before falling asleep again and taking a fifteen minute cat nap, which you managed to fall prey to as well. the only way to draw the two of you out of your naps was the loud ringing of kenma's phone
"damnit, i forgot to put it on silent" kenma pouted
"we had to eventually get up" you yawned a little before rubbing your eyes and getting up. you grabbed the dishes and took them over to the sink, meanwhile unintentionally eavesdropping in on kenma's conversation, he had the phone on speaker

"hello?" 
"kenma!!!! i need help, like a lot a lot a lot of help!!" you immediately recognized the voice as yamamoto
"and you're calling me of all people"
"yes, yaku didn't pick up, now please listen"
"...fine, what?"
"there's a really pretty gir-"
"no"
and with that kenma hung up the call, you could hear him murmur something along the lines of
"damn you, interrupting my cuddles for that b.s."
you couldn't help but laugh, which caught kenma's attention. he got up from the kotatsu and strolled over, taking in your smile for all it was worth, and enjoying every aspect about it.  he stood next to you before peering down
"whatcha' laughing at?"
"your conversation"
"...we're you eaves dropping?" kenma narrowed his eyes at me with a playful smile on his face
"kinda herd not to when you put it on speaker, but still," you turned to meet his eyes," i'm sorry"
"don't worry about it, it means you pay attention"
"but you're not one for attention"
"you're a different case"

just those words alone left a wide grin on your face, it was nice knowing you're important to him.

you shut off the tap in your sink and turned to kenma, who was back sitting at the kotatsu
"i'm going to go get dressed, then we can leave if you want"
kenma just looked up with a smile and nodded before going back to his psp.

Kenma's p.o.v:
kenma heard light footsteps from ascend down from kireina's stairs, so he shut off his psp and pried himself from the warmth of the kotatsu. he heard the footsteps finally come to a stop and when he looked up, the warmth he missed from the table was completely pushed out of his mind. it was like he was looking at the definition of beauty herself.
'she's gorgeous' he thought to himself, blood rushing up to his cheeks and ears
he smiled towards kireina, her giving him one of her trademark radiant smiles that always managed to take his breath away.
'damn, i've fallen hard'
"you know you didn't have to dress up," he smiled a little brighter at kireina, " but i'm not complaining"
"well, it is technically our first actual date, besides i noticed you dressed up a bit nicer as well" she motioned towards the fact kenma had taken the time to wear something other than sweat pants and his nekoma jacket. 
'god, she's perfect' kenma thought to himself once again before walking over and taking your hand in his.

the warmth of your intertwined fingers sent a jolt of electricity though kenma, making his blush grow even deeper. even if the pair had been dating for some time, kenma couldn't help but still blush sometimes.

"so where are we going?" kireina asked as she slipped on her shoes, the curiosity laced in her voice only made her seem more adorable to kenma
"you'll see" he calmly replied which made kireina puff out her cheeks
'too cute'
kenma stiffened, he was glitching from cuteness overload

"kenmaaaaa, kenmaaaaaa" kireina waved her hand in front of kenma's face which snapped him out of it

"oh. sorry" kenma said before opening up the door and letting kireina out first. she laughed as kenma locked the door and they left

Kireina's p.o.v:
as you and kenma walked down the street your hands intertwined sweetly together, pushing out the cold air surrounding the two of you. you silently observed your surroundings, just like kenma did. you noticed the happy couple expecting walking on the opposite side of the street from you two, or the old lady who runs the flower shop near your neighborhood sweeping the front porch of her business.

you remembered back to the weekend after kenma had asked you out

"um, yeah...I got these for you, you know, since your my girlfriend now..." kenma shyly said to you as he turned his head away to hide the blush prevalent on his face. you giggled a little and accepted the bouquet of your favorite flowers from him, putting then in a nice vase you had on hand.
"thank you" you walked over and hugged him. kenma still wasn't used to being very forward with affection, so usually you had to lead the way, about the only thing kenma really started on his own was holding your hand
"how did you know those were my favorite flowers?" you asked, your head resting on his chest as you both still hugged each other
"I just picked up on it, you're always looking at then whenever we pass by some"
"ever so observant" you smile, tugging kenma even closer to you, he wrapped his arms tighter around you and you both stayed like that for a while

as you withdrew from your memories, you and kenma boarded the shinkansen, taking a seat next to eachother since it wasn't very busy. he grabbed his phone from his pocket and logged onto the game where he'd first figured out who you were from. you took notice and logged on too...but immediately a flood of comments in the lobby you two were in spammed both your phones

"omgomgomg they're on here!!!"
"are they playing together ( O.O )"
"omg i've shipped them for so long!!!"

...ah yes, the life of a gaming live-streamer

"wanna do a stream together when we get home later?" kenma asked, gently squeezing your hand
"are you staying the night?" you looked over with a suprised face
"...yeah, i wanted to spend more time with you, i packed a bag...if that's okay with you" he started blushing a little
"of course it is!" you smiled, kenma began rubbing the back of your hand with his thumb, which always made you happy.

as you both were spawned in on the server you both played on, you took off to your respective plots, with plans of farming more rescources, so you could get further in the game. kenma was about five levels above you becuase he'd gotten lucky and got an ultra rare spawn you'd been trying to get for weeks which pissed you off at the time, so you went and burned his house down.

he made you make it up to him with apple pies for a whole week.

you didn't mind tough, that meant he'd be using your house as a base in the game for a while, maybe his luck would rub off on you. also, the apple pies made kenma happy, and that always made you feel warm and fuzzy inside

so I've been really busy lately so if I miss an upload day or miss a birthday or something, I'm really sorry. Everything is getting really busy. I'm going to try and keep up my same upload schedule, but depending upon what happens at school I might have to slow down, but until then it's still all going to be the same.
