I exhaled sharply and put a hand over my chest. This sickening worry came over me. I had this terrible feeling. Stiles noticed and gave a concerned look. I didn't say anything and tried calling Alex, but when he didn't answer, it made me sick to my stomach. I could feel it. He was fading.

I finally received a call. I walked away from the three to answer it. It was Alex calling me. When I put the phone to my ear, I heard a pained moan, gunshots, and tires rolling against the gravel.

"Alex?"

"It's Issac," the voice breathed out. There was a sort of explosion.

"What did you do to him?"

"The hunters are after him," Issac explained. "Derek's fighting them off, but your brother needs help. He got shot, but he looks worse... "

"Take him to Beacon Hills Animal Clinic," I told him. "Meet me there - I swear... "

He had hung up on me. I parted from the three and rode to the animal clinic. I walked inside, despite seeing the closed sign, and towards the back. Deaton was attempting to work on Alex, but he was shaking and the lights flickered.

"What's happening to him?" I asked, worriedly. "Deaton?"

"I need to get this bullet out," he replied. "It's burning his muscles, skin tissue, and it's spreading. Alex is making it quite difficult to do so... he needs to calm down."

"Alex," I spoke in a soft voice. I closed my eyes, grabbing his hand. I felt a spark but it was bearable. "Alex, it's gonna be fine."

"There, like that," Deaton said.

He hunched over and plucked the bullet out of his lower abdomen. It was silent. He patched up the wound, then examined the bullet.

"Interesting," Deaton spoke. "It's iron."

"Iron burn- "

"Burns fairies," he finished. "Yes. Interesting... What did you say your last name was?"

"I didn't - Moore," I told him.

"Moore," he repeated. "I knew your parents. You look like your mother."

"You knew our parents?" I questioned. "My mom said- "

"She erased everyone's memories?" he said. "Your parents knew you would be here so if anything were to happen, I could watch over you. It is sad they had passed. Good people, they were."

"Where's Issac?" I asked. "He brought him here."

"The tall boy?" I nodded. "He left after dropping him off."

"Oh... " Why did he just take off? "Well, thank you."

Alex and I arrived at school the next day. Fortunately, overnight he healed for the most part. There was only a small scar left.

I saw Allison and walked up to her. I glanced at the camera, then opened my locker beside her.

"I think you should ask your father what he was doing last night," I told her with resentment.
