"Alex, I can't anymore." I sat up and leaned against the window. "Your heart's beating like crazy."

"I'm sorry," Alex said, irritably. "The twins are looking like they're gonna attack and Boyd keeps glancing at him and Scott told me to make sure he doesn't try anything."

"You okay?" I asked him. "Did it heal?"

He lifted his shirt and looked down at the three-inch scar that got smaller. You should have seen it when it had happened. It had gone across his whole chest down to his lower abdomen.

"Lucky it wasn't iron or silver," I said, sighing.

"Lucky you were there," he said.

"Really?" I questioned, looking back at Scott. "I couldn't even help Scott. The wounds from an Alpha, I can't heal. Either I'm not strong enough or it's a rule. It's like a bond between the werewolves or something."

"Well," Alex began. "Get some sleep and recharge yourself, okay?"

I took in a deep breath and closed my eyes, leaning against the window.

"You really want to follow them?" Alex questioned.

"Scott's been a bit... off?" I responded. "His mother said so. I have a feeling that whatever Scott's doing, it's not going to be fun."

We followed a few cars behind Scott and Issac on the green motorcycle. We drove a while away, then got to an abandoned mall.

"Okay, we're just observing," I reminded Alex. "If they need help, we'll give it to them."

I saw Deucalion on the old escalator. And then Derek showed up with Scott, Boyd, and Cora. And then a few other Alpha werewolves appeared, including the twins.

Alex got up, but I held him back. "Don't... not yet."

And then the fight began. They needed a lot of help. We watched them fight each other. It was bloody. So many got injured. Too many to the point Alex revealed himself. He did manage to keep a few werewolves from moving for a while, but they always recovered and got back up.

I just watched. If I was honest, I was scared. And I felt the pain. On both sides. But then, when Scott and Issac got injured, I stepped in to help.

"Oh, my God," Scott exclaimed. "What are you doing here?"

"Followed you," I said. I put my hand on Issac's arm and I healed his broken bone. I went to Scott to try to heal him. "Kind of wished I hadn't."

"Watch out!"

I got tackled by one werewolf. I brought out Thorn and spun it around. I hit him in the face with it. I ran towards him to kick him, but he grabbed my foot and threw me across the room and I hit the wall. The girl grabbed me and as she stepped on Cora's neck, she wrapped her clawed hand at my neck-

A whistle blew and I shook awake. I looked at the front and Coach was ordering some students to move to their seats.

"Jared," he said. "Again, car sick, every - How do you even get on the bus? Look at me - no don't look at me. Look at the horizon. Keep your eyes - keep your eyes on the horizon. McCall, not you too."

Scott cleared his throat. "No, Coach, I'm good!"

"Guys," Alex warned, looking back. "He's listening."

"Is he gonna do something?" Stiles asked.

"Not in front of this many people," Scott replied.

"Okay, well, what about the two ticking time bombs sitting right near him?" Scott questioned, looking at Issac and Boyd.
