"Agent Y/l/n"

You were finishing up a case report when you heard your name being called from behind you. You turned your head and looked at the man behind you. "Agent Stevens, I told you it was fine to call me Y/n"

"Yeah but I'm still new to this place" he shrugged

"You have been here for a year George" you chuckled "It's fine, anyway what do you have for me?"

"I got some notes for you from the BAU" he handed you a file as you got up from your chair "The consult we asked for"

"Aren't you supposed to give these to Hughes she's taking the lead on this one" you tried to hand the file back

"Yeah but she likes you better because you know..." he pushed the file back into your hands

"Fine" you chuckled

"And" you were about to walk away but he stood in your way "These are extra notes for Agent Taylor from the guy who's a genius or something"

"Genius huh?" You quickly skimmed through the file, these notes weren't new to you. You had the same ideas this guy had. "Everyone calls themselves a genius these days then"

"Or he's probably on the same level of genius as you" he suggested

"Yeah right" you chuckled, and began to walk away with the files on your hand in the air to make a point "No one can match my genius"

"Why do you have to be so cocky" he trailed behind you

"It lets men know that I am not to be stepped on. If I make it look like I'm fragile then someone is bound to piss me off" You looked down at the files he handed you as you walked

"People don't step on you"

You turned your head and smiled as you both walked past some offices "Exactly"

"Oh" it was like he almost had an epiphany, you chuckled and made it to the office you were looking for. "You can go I got this"

"Alright" he nodded and began to walk back down the hallway

You twisted the doorknob and knocked at the same time, upon entering you found your supervisor inside as well. "Agent Taylor, Agent Hughes" you greeted

"Y/l/n come in" Agent Taylor stood up from the chair he was sitting in across the desk sat Agent Hughes, your favorite person

"I have some notes from Hotchners team" you handed him the file

"Thank you" he began to walk through the door "Ask Hughes about our most recent case we are very close to cracking this one" he shut the door behind him

You nodded and turned back around only to be pushed onto the desk, knocking some papers over "April!" You giggled

"What?" She dug her fingers into your hips and immediately pressed her lips against yours.

You held yourself steady by gripping onto the edge of the desk but you pulled away once her hands traveled towards your belt. You hummed in satisfaction "We are at work"

"And I have an office" she wiggled her brows "With blinds"

You laughed at her gesture and sat on her desk all the way "it's just a couple of hours until we go home"

"Did I mention how boring you can be" she pursed her lips and crossed her hands over her chest

"Oh please" you playfully smacked her arm "I'm sorry that I don't want my co-workers to hear us"
