"Y/n what the hell are you doing with my patient" it was like she completely ignored the fact that you were connected to fluids and had bruises around your wrists. You really did not want to add another thing to your plate. You hadn't even thought about the fact that you were probably brought to the same hospital she worked in

You got up from Spencer's bed and leaned over to place a chaste kiss unto his lips "I can't be here. She's a great at a lot of things but being a mother is not one of them"

"Don't be too long" he quickly responded as you grabbed onto the I.V pole

"Goodbye mother, be careful you might mistake his stab wound as accidental and there will be no need for an investigation" you mocked as you made your way towards the door, but you felt a hand wrap around your wrist

"I am your mother I gave birth to you, you need to start treating me with respect" her grip tightened but you snatched your hand away

"I just got kidnapped and you didn't even bother to worry about the reason I look like this!" You realized that you started shouting so you paused, took a breath and lowered your tone "You let dad treat me like crap and you taught Eric how to treat me like crap so if I'm not treating you with respect it's because you don't deserve it"

"You are acting unreasonable. I walk in here and you are all over my patient. What's wrong with you?" She crossed her arms over her chest

"Your patient is my boyfriend" you scoffed "I'm leaving because I really don't want to fight. I'm exhausted" you began to walk out the door but turned around once more "And don't touch me. Ever"

She gave you a shocked look and like always she said a snarky remark just to get you riled up "That's your boyfriend?" She pointed at Spencer who had managed to sit up with a confused look on his face "I knew that whole girl thing was a joke"

You didn't say anything you decided to turn around and walk out the door. In the hallway right outside you found JJ and Emily talking "Who thought it was a good idea to have my mother as Spencer's nurse"

"What?" Emily took a step towards you

"I'm going back to my room just make sure she doesn't treat him like an inconvenience just because he's my boyfriend" you sighed

"Wait" JJ stepped in front of you

"What?" Your gaze flicked between Emily and JJ

"I have to talk to you and Reid" she gently guided you back into his room

Just as you walked in you noticed your mom asking "Would you like anything for the pain?"

Spencer froze and then looked over at you surprised. You could tell that he didn't want to but it had been a long couple of months. Then you remembered what he said at the bar the night before everything went down. So you spoke for him "No"

"Well I didn't ask you-" she turned to look at you

"She's right" Spencer spoke up as well "I don't want anything, could you go"

You watched her remove the rubber gloves she had worn and threw them into the trash before walking out, giving you a glare. Hopefully Emily could talk fast so you could just get out of here quicker.
