Part 13- Its okay you can go...

"Help her! Please! She's only 34! She has the rest of her life to live!" Kelly shouts whilst sobbing
"Come on Kelly" Gabby says in tears
"Tell them to keep going gabby! Please! I need her!" Kelly shouts clutching onto Harper's hand
Just then the monitor starts to beep again and the doctors rush over
"What's going on?" Kelly says shocked
"We've got a pulse!" The doctor says
Kelly let's out a sigh of relief and drops to the ground
"We're going to have to ask you guys to get out" the doctor says as they all walk out the room
"See! Told you she was a fighter!" Casey says wiping the tears from his face
Kelly notices that Jake is standing in the waiting room so he walks over to him
"Get out!" Kelly shouts
"Last time I checked this was a free county!" Jake says thinking he's great
"It should have been you!" Kelly shouts
"And whys that?" Jake asks
"First you send Harper in without backup when chief told you that everyone had to go in with someone! She radioed over to you telling you she was stuck and then you didn't help her! You left her to die!" Kelly shouts whilst sobbing
"I think it's best that you leave" Boden says angrily
"Fine!" Jake says as he puts his hands up and walks away
Kelly sits on the chair in the waiting room and texts Benny to pick up aria and the rest of the kids for him. He leaves out the rest of the details as he can't handle explaining them to another person. They wait around for another hour before Kelly is finally let in to see her. She is on a ventilator and he sits down on the chair next to her.
"Hey sweetheart! I don't know if you can hear me but I just wanted to let you know that I'm here! But it's okay if you want to go! If your worried about me and the kids we will be fine! We've got 51 to help us! And I'll tell them stories about your amazing rescues and show them pictures of you every night! We won't forget you Harper god no one could forget you! And don't worry Jake will go down for this!" Kelly says trying his best not to cry
"I love you Harper Severide! And I couldn't have been more luckier to call you my wife for these past couple of years! If your in pain you can go! But if you feel like hanging on please do! Then we can grow old together and see our kids grow up and follow in our footsteps!" Kelly says before resting his head on Harper's shoulder
