Chapter 18- Kellys nightmare

After a long day of filling out paperwork Harper is finally released from hospital. Kelly drives her home and Harper walks over to to the couch slightly limping
"I've missed you couch!" Harper says sitting down slowly
"I think it's missed you!" Kelly says laughing
Harper lets out a big yawn
"Let's get you to bed!" Kelly says picking her up bridal style and walking into their room
Harper gets changed into her pajammas and lays down in bed
"So comfy!" Harper says finding the right spot to sleep in
Kelly tucks her in and places a kiss on her forehead. She dozes off and Kelly slips out the room. He puts all her dirty clothes from the hospital into the washing machine and unpacks all of her things. An hour later he finally gets into bed and falls asleep
*Kellys Nightmare*
"Truck 81, Squad 3, engine 51, ambulance 61, high rise fire, 789th street" The intercom says
They all jump in their trucks and drive to the scene. When they arrive on scene they can see a 30 floor building on fire and the fire is spreading fast!
"Okay squad 3! Suit up! We're going in!" Kelly shouts as he glances over at Harper
"We've got this truck 81! Have each others backs! If you see a man down you radio okay? Whether they are on your truck or not!" Harper shouts as she smiles at Kelly
"Okay engine! Let's do a secondary search with the other companies then we will get some water on that's blaze!" Casey shouts
Everyone runs in leaving the 3 captains still to go in, they look at each other and smile before running in.
Truck 81 takes floors 20-30, squad 3 takes 10-20 and engine takes 1-10
"Fire department call out!" Harper shouts as she spots Herrmann
"I think there's someone in here Captain!" Herrmann says before kicking down a door
They run in and start to search
"Okay! Everyone out!" Chief says through the radio
"Let's go Herrmann!" Harper shouts
As they are running out the roof collapses and Harper gets stuck under it. By the time Herrmann wakes up everyone is out of the building apart from them. He rushes over to Harper who is t breathing
"Mayday! Harper is down!" Herrmann says through the radio
Kelly goes to run in but chief stops him
"Come on chief! Let me in!" Kelly says fighting with bodens arms
"You know I can't do that Kelly!" Boden says as Kelly throws his helmet onto the ground
"Come on Harper!" Herrmann says as he does CPR
Herrmann takes off her jacket to reveal burns covering most of her body. He does CPR for a while until she knows it's no good. He walks out on his own but no one notices him until Kelly spots him and runs over to him
"I'm so sorry Kelly" Herrmann says with tears in his eyes
The rest of 51 can feel their hearts drop and Caseys eyes start watering
"No! Go in and get her! You can't leave her in there! That's my wife! She died alone! The one thing she didn't want! You were supposed to have her back!" Kelly says with his legs collapsing
Everyone comes over and puts their hands on Kelly's back
"No! Please! This can't be happening! She wasn't ready to go yet!" Kelly shouts as he sobs
*present day*
Kelly is shaking and sweating, Harper is woken up by him
"Kelly?" Harper says putting her hand on his chest
Kelly then jerks awake
"What's wrong honey?" Harper asks
"Never leave me!" Kelly says pulling Harper into a hug
"I don't plan to!" Harper whispers in his ear
