Chapter 22- Passing

It's a week later and Harper is retaking her test. She drives to the doctors and does all the exercises again.
"Okay I smashed that!" Harper thinks
The doctor comes back in and sits down
"I don't know how you've done it but I can clear you to go back to active duty!" The doctor says
"What! Yes! Thank you! Thank you!" Harper says jumping for joy
Harper then runs out so she can make it to shift on time. She runs in during the morning briefing
"Harper?" Kelly says looking at Harper out of breath
"Guess who's coming back!" Harper shouts
"Oh wow! Congratulations girl!" Dawson shouts
"The witch is back!" Casey shouts
"And just in time for shift!" Harper says standing at the back next to Kelly and Casey
Just then Jake walks in
"What's she doing here?" Jake says pointing at Harper
"Oh I forgot! Your that stupid! Remember when you left me in the fire and you know I nearly died! Well you see I've just been cleared to come back and Grissom has given me my rank back! So adios!" Harper says as Kelly laughs
"First I didn't leave your stupid ass in the fire! Second truck 81 is my truck!" Jake shouts
"Tell that to the voicemail I left headquarters!" Harper says as Jakes face goes pale
"Oh yeah! I caught it! Everything you said to me! Care to hear it?" Harper says pulling out her phone
"You have no proof!" Jake says panicking
Harper starts to play the voice recording
*The recording*
"Help! I'm stuck!" Harper says in the recording
"Well well well! What do we have here?" Jake replies
"Oh thank god! Help me out will you?" Harper asks
"I thought you could handle yourself?" Jake says towering over Harper
"What?" Harper says
"I thought you could handle yourself!" Jake says before walking out
*Present Day*
Harper stops playing the recording
"You knew that floor wasn't stable! That's why you only sent me up! You then stood and watched my air tank go down! I'm onto you winter!" Harper says getting closer to winter
"So what if I did! What are you gonna do? Tell your husband!" Jake says laughing
"No! But the 3 voicemails that I left Kelly, Headquarters and the commissioner all say the same thing! And guess what! Headquarters got CPD involved! It's classed as attempted murder!" Harper says with a smirk on her face
Without thinking Jake punches Harper causing her nose to bleed. Kelly, Casey and Boden all run over and grab winter
"Bad move!" Harper says wiping her nose
Just then CPD walk in
"Jake Winters I'm arresting you on attempted murder and what looks like assault! You don't have to say anything but if you do it will be used against you in court!" Antonio says as they take Jake away
