Chapter 27- A bit of a Mix up...

"I can't do it!" Harper says
"Look I'll take one too so your not on your own!" Dawson says as she walks into the cubical
She pees on the stick and comes out and sits it next to Harper's
"There's no chance mine could be positive!" Dawson says
As they are about to turn the sticks over
"Truck 81, Ambulance 61, Person trapped, Oakland Street" The intercom says
"Shoot!" Harper says as she grabs the sticks and throws them in her locker
They run out and suit up. When they arrive on scene they can see a pregnant woman stuck on her roof.
"What a coincidence!" Harper whispers to herself
"What was that captain?" Herrmann asks
"Nothing! Herrmann get the aerial up there! And Amelia get me a backboard!" Harper shouts
"You got it!" They Both shout
Harper climbs up the ladder to find the woman's breathing getting a bit fast
"What's your name honey?" Harper asks
"V-Violet!" Violet says out of breath
"And how old are you?" Harper asks
"17!" Violet answers
"Okay! Deep breaths for me! In and out!" Harper says calmly
Violet manages to control her breathing but Violet is frozen and won't come down
"How far along are you?" Harper asks
"I'm 36 weeks!" Violet says looking down
"Hey! Eyes on me! Do you know what your having?" Harper asks
"A girl!" Violet says smiling
"I have 2 little girls at home! Aria and Maria! Now your little girl would want you to get down! She needs her mum! Think of all the cool things you can do together! Can you be brave for her and come down?" Harper asks putting out her hand
"Umm" Violet says as a rage of panic spreads across her face
"It's okay honey! Let's get you down!" Harper says noticing that her wasters have just broke
Harper gets her safely down and Dawson takes her to the hospital. They pack up and head back to the firehouse. It's been an hour and Dawson has just arrived back. They run to the bathroom and get the tests
"Dawson!" Harper says as she looks at the tests
"What!" Dawson replies pancaking
"One of them is positive! And I don't know what ones which!" Harper says Panicking
"Oh my god Harper!" Dawson says taking a closer look at the tests before Casey and Kelly walk in
"Guys!" Harper and Dawson say as they hide the tests behind their backs
"What's going on?" Kelly asks
"Nothing! Everything's fine!" Harper says breaking out in a nervous sweat
"I'm not buying it! What's going on?" Casey says confused
"It's nothing!" Dawson says
"Casey! Severide! Boden wants you!" Cruz shouts
"Oh looks like you've gotta go?" Harper says
"Yeah?" They both say as they shoot the girls a look before walking away
"God that was close!" Harper says letting out a sigh
"Now we've gotta figure out which ones which!" Dawson says
