Jessie breathed in sharply, realising that Jackson hadn't explained anything to her yet. She knew that it was not her place to tell her that she and Jackson were mates and began panicking as her mind began to scramble ways she could fix this. Something this important was something that Jackson had to tell her himself.

"U-m it's not... really my place to tell you this. Jackson should be the one to explain... everything," she stammered, her eyes blinking rapidly due to panic.

Lairith looked at her silently as if studying her expressions. Jessie fidgeted under her gaze, her shoulders sinking. She bit her lip and told her again, "He'll tell you soon! I promise!"

With this, Lairith finally withdrew her gaze as if she didn't care at all. She once again turned to Amara and asked her,"Why must you share a room with that man? Stay with us," she didn't linger on Jessie's previous words.

"No." Amara replied with a firm and resolute tone.

"You must like that man more than I thought," she said quietly. Amara remained silent, neither denying nor confirming what she said causing Lairith to sigh.

Lairith sighed.

"You will understand soon enough,"

Jessie awkwardly listened to the two sister conversations, not understanding a word they said, but the language barrier didn't stop her from admiring how beautiful they spoke. She remembered Lucas saying that it was a dead language and almost no one knew how to speak it fluently, and yet, she was lucky enough to come across three people that spoke it fluently.

Though she felt a little awkward she is still felt excited and happy for Jackson for finally finding his mate. She was beautiful - all three of them were, and as someone who loved beautiful things (who doesn't?) She was glad to be able to see them everyday.

As if on cue, Jackson Austin and Felix appeared behind them, walking passed multiple paintings hanging on the wall, each one painted with fine detail.

Austin naturally stood beside Amara, stroking his head as he did. She didn't uncomfortable in the least and even leaned into his touch. And just as Austin stood by Amara's side, Jackson stood close to Lairith, feeling the urge to hold her as well, but he restrained himself. He was afraid that he would come on too strong and further distance herself from him. He wanted to spend time with her and learn everything there was to learn about her, but because everything happened so fast, he hasn't even had that chance to have a full conversation with her yet.

"Do you feel comfortable in your room Lairith?" He loved how her name rolled out of his tongue. Lairith... Lairith... her name was as beautiful and unique as she was.

Ah... look at him. Not even a full day had passed and was already smitten with her.

Lairith took a good look at the room she was to occupy for their time here. The room was simply furnished. The walled were a creme collar with a grey carpet laid beneath. There was queen-sized bed in the centre of the room with two bedside tables on each side, and a t/v stuck on the wall in front. The bed had many pillows and the blankets were thick and looked soft to the touch. Despite it being furnished simply, it could be said that it was better than many five star hotels.

She didn't know what half of the things in the room was for or did but to her, everything looked annoyingly bright. She felt her eyes sting a little from all of the brightness. It was a stark contrast to the cold and dark things she was used to seeing but despite this, she nodded at him.

After seeing her responses he continued by saying "My room is right next to yours so if you need anything then... just come over I guess," he nervously said while awkwardly scratching his head.
