Back in Austin's office; Austin sat, reclined on his seat. On one hand, he held a document and on the other a pen. He passively read the document in his hand while twirling the pen in the other, his face showed signs of fatigue despite it only being noon.

He sighed before putting the paper down and massaged the bridge of his nose in an attempt to get rid of the strained feeling in his eyes.

It was clear to see that he had been working hard at his job despite the many complaints he threw at Jackson and Felix.

Only a couple of hours have passed since he finished sending the Dawns pack off. During their stay, he couldn't help but notice that he had only seen Alpha Elias's son twice, once when he came and once when he left.

Despite only getting a glimpse of him before he left, he noticed that he was quite absent-minded. His eyes were unfocused but at the same time looking around as if he were looking for something.

He recalled that the boy's name was Davien, he was well-built with lean muscles and skin slightly darker than his, and although the boy was only 17 his height did not lose to his as he was only a couple inches shorter than him.

But despite his appearance, he could still tell that he was a naive and carefree youth that still has not seen the filth of the world.

As he was deep in thought, the phone that was placed on the corner of his desk rang; breaking him out of his thoughts. Because he had a habit of turning off any distractions while he was working, he was ready to ignore the call when he saw who the caller was and hastily picked up.

"Jackson?" His deep voice reverberated through the phone, and despite being miles away Jackson couldn't help but shiver.

He couldn't contain his composure and ended up blurting out everything that happened in the kindergarten. Austin who immediately noticed something was wrong sprung up and rushed out the door completely forgetting about the documents stacked up on his desk.

"I'll be there in 5 minutes, make sure nothing happens to her"

It would seem that whatever he does, she was never going to stop finding new ways to worry him.

He quickly drove to the kindergarten and just as he said, he arrived 5 minutes later.

Even from the entrance, he could already hear the commotion that was happening. The playground that was located in the back of the kindergarten had a pathway on the side of the building that connected it to the entrance.

"Miss Lucy, please calm down, miss Amara means no harm," Cassandra says to the red-haired woman who's name was Lucy, trying to pacify her but the woman, lost in her anxiousness continued to make a scene.

"No harm? She's a monster!"

"Who?" The dark voice penetrated the air, the pressure coming from this voice forced everybody quiet, even the once hysterical woman shut her mouth.

The owner of that voice slowly walked towards the red-haired woman, Lucy could only look at the ground while trembling in fear.

Even though their alpha rarely got angry, but when he does it felt as if the devil himself came there to collect your soul.

Austin walked past Lucy towards Amara, he protectively pushed her behind him as he glared at the woman in front of him.

"Name" He ordered, his face still dark.

"L-Lucy, Alpha"

"I will give you three seconds to explain the disrespectful behaviour you're showing your Luna,"

'Luna?' Lucy's eye went wide with belief, did she hear right?

"Impossible" she mumbled

Austin twitched as he raised his eyebrows.

"Oh?" He sneered

Jackson, who stood beside Amara couldn't help but sweat profusely at the scene that was playing in front of him. Even though the red-haired woman was acting terrible, he couldn't help but be afraid for her because whenever his alpha was like this... he shuddered at the thought.

"Alpha, this place is hardly appropriate to discuss such matters" Jackson couldn't help but speak out.

Austin looked around, it was true that they were garnering a little too much attention, and he couldn't help but notice the uneasiness that the children were feeling because of his aura.

"You" he pointed towards Lucy "My office"

Lucy's eyes widened in fear, her whole face screamed at how reluctant she was and just as she was about to protest, Jackson leaned in her ear and whispered "you should follow along otherwise your punishment will be a lot harsher and you might drag others into your predicament"

She whimpered and reluctantly complied as she knew she had no choice in the matter.

Seeing as how the situation had elevated this far she couldn't help but regret her impulsive actions to the point that she felt her intestines twist in knots. She should not have let her anxiousness and fear control her but no matter how much she regretted them now it wasn't impossible to go back in time and undo her actions, the only thing she could do was grit her teeth and bear the consequences.

Even though she accepted everything she hoped that she wouldn't have to disclose anything related to her family, because one; she was afraid of what was going to happen to her and her son, and two; because she might not have the answers they were seeking.

Everything she knew she learned from books and stories, the only reason she knew a little more than others was because of her father.

She was a half-blood. She knew that much, but she had never met a real siren before making her even more wary of the woman in front of her.

The boy, who was still being heavily guarded behind Lucy, looked between his mother and the pretty lady with perplexed eyes. Although he was curious as to why his mother was being like this even though they were the same, he kept quiet. He was afraid of the man standing in front of the beautiful lady.

After Jackson whispered in Lucy's ear, she mysteriously became more complacent. Although she was so scared to the point that she was still shaking any thought of rebelling was instantly squashed by Jackson.

He led the mother and son pair into his car, and when Austin saw that they were far enough he turned to Amara and meticulously checked whether or not she was unharmed despite the certainty that she wasn't with Jackson by her side.

After being reassured that she was unharmed he led her back into his car and drove them both to his office. At some point, he had contacted Felix and told him to meet them there with red-haired woman's information ready.
