Jessie decided to borrow one of Austin's cars, which had been collecting dust in his garage. One of their business partners gave him the car as a show-off gift to curry favour with him. The gifted car had only been out of his garage a handful of times and was primarily used for collection. Unfortunately, Austin preferred to drive cars that were more "low key" and often used his own 'standard' car (one that cost a couple hundred thousand dollars) that he's owned for several years now.

Unfortunately, the last time Lairith and Thelopi rode in one, they were too preoccupied with the baffling situation to properly look at it. When they opened the garage door, a sleek black car appeared in front of them. They couldn't hide the curious gleam in their eyes when they saw a vehicle for the second time.

The two kept a safe distance from the vehicle while keeping an eye on it. They were cautious because the vehicle was shaped differently than the one they previously rid in. Noticing their cautiousness, Amara stepped in quickly to explain what was going on and explained to them that it wasn't anything dangerous. She had seen this car several times on television after watching a variety of shows and deduced that it was commonly used by wealthy people.

Jessie snatched Austin's keys and pushed them in after successfully lowering their guard. Austin was a little concerned that Jessie would use this opportunity to flaunt her driving skills and drive recklessly.

"Jessie, please drive carefully," he stressed.

"Have a little faith, why don't you?" Jessie waved him away, assuring him that she wouldn't put them in danger. They said their goodbyes and sped off, leaving a cloud of dust in their wake.

"Would you like to listen to some music?" Jessie asked as she turned on the radio. A beautiful melody filled the air as they carefully listened to the enchanting song. Being creatures that they were, they were naturally drawn to music so it was no surprise that they were quickly enthralled by it. Their voices blended in beautifully with the song and even added harmonies of their own. If angels existed, Jessie couldn't help but think that their voices would sound exactly like this.

With her sunglasses on, Jessie listened to them while leisurely driving to the central town of their pack. Lairith gazed out of the window watching the trees pass by in a blur. As they got closer to the town, more and more buildings appeared and a feeling of amazement spurred within her as she took in this whole new world that was passing before her eyes. Being absorbed in her thoughts, she didn't notice the car stop. It was only when somebody had opened the door beside her did she finally snap out of her daze.

"And.... We're here!" Jessie told them as she removed her sunglasses and placed them on her head.

This was the first time Amara had stepped into this town. All of the "dates" she and Austin spent had always been in the town of Solaris (where she first appeared), otherwise, the couple of weeks she was here was spent either at home or Austin's office. Because she was never properly shown around, she was just as ignorant about everything as the other two, which was not her fault, but Austin's.

After the incident of her disappearing, Austin had felt anxious about her being out of his sight so he couldn't go out on her own.

The "town" was named after their pack, Vermillion. It was a little smaller in terms of size compared to Solaris but that didn't mean it was any less lively.

As soon as they stepped into the town, a strong scent flooded their nose almost overwhelming them. From their short time here, they figured out that werewolves had a stronger scent than humans. Being around a couple wasn't too bad but a town full of them ought to overwhelm their sense of smell a little bit.
