twenty nine

the two males left the restaurant after daniel paid, soobin unlocking his car and getting into the drivers seat.

"that food was so good we have to have another date there." daniel said, rubbing his full stomach. "that's fine with me. it was fun seeing you react to korean tradition food." soobin laughed, pulling out of park and driving to daniels place.

"it was so interesting but so good at the same time. but it was also so spicy."

"well that's what you picked. i did tell you it was spicy." daniel groaned, leaning over to put his head on soobins shoulder.

"i don't want this day to end." daniel admitted, staring out into the road in front of him. "i know, i don't either but you've been drinking, you need to go and rest." the elder let out another groan.

soobin pulled up to daniels apartment complex and watched the older slowly unbuckle himself, trying to stay with the younger longer.

"do you want me to come up? i can help you unpack?" soobin suggested, smiling at daniel being childish. daniel he let out a deep sigh. "nah. i want my place to be perfect before you start to visit. can i get a kiss before i go?" he asked, pouting his lips at soobin.

soobin stared dumbfounded at the elders drunken state, eyeing the boys pouty lips. he was nervous, mainly because it was his first kiss, but he didn't think daniel would ask on their first date.

luckily for him his phone started to ring, him answering it far too quickly and left daniel hanging who sighed in defeat.

"kai what's up?... wait slow down, beomgyu did what? on his own?.. ok hold on i'm coming over." soobin quickly hung up. "daniel i'll text you tomorrow. please get some rest." he spoke before leaning over and pecking the elders cheek.

daniel left the car quickly and blew soobin a kiss before waving goodbye to the boy.

"i wonder what all that was about."

"kai?!"

"i'm in the living room!"

soobin dashed into the youngers living room, spotting the surprisingly blonde boy standing in the middle of the room, holding a note. he passed it over to soobin who immediately started reading.

'ayo, the person who sent you this is telling you they have moved to america to be closer to the boy they love. sorry this is so sudden but you understand it's for love i mean soobin literally had a date on the guys first day in korea. like simp much. anyway i'm most likely gonna be there indefinitely until terry is ready to visit korea and not gonna lie this idea was spontaneous and welp couldn't back out after i bought the ticket. anyway i'll msg you when i land in america on our discord server.

soobins jaw dropped while reading the note. he couldn't believe beomgyu would just do that and would tell them through a note.

"he's gone?" kai nodded. "i just came home from the hair dressers and i saw this note in the mail slot. did he move because terry said he didn't want long distance?" the younger asked, sitting down, soobin doing the same.

"it would have to be. beomgyu does like him but how could he just tell us through a handwritten note and not face to face?"

"he didn't even let us see him off. is that why he was so clingy today? because he was moving?" kai wondered, taking back the note. "beomgyu's always clingy but he acted so different today. why didn't he tell us he was moving during school?"

the whole situation made the two boys feel hurt and confused.

"can i stay the night?" soobin asked. "sure. you can go shower first and i'll get pajamas ready." kai stood up and left to go upstairs, leaving the elder alone on the couch.
