ya girl took a "small" break and i already forgot the plot so sorry if things don't make sense,,,,

the three males where sat in mcdonalds for breakfast. soobin had just explained the news to kai, who almost choked on his burger.

"she's pregnant? that's so exciting. you can finally have a baby brother or sister!" kai exclaimed with excitement. "no it's not exciting. i don't like the idea of her settling down with someone other than dad." soobin defended with a huff.

"but soobin. she's almost in her forties. and she hasn't been with your dad for years. you gotta let her move on which she clearly has." beomgyu spoke, taking a drink. "soob is the one who doesn't want to move on but you have to if you want to make your mother happy. and it's mr choi. the girls in my class won't stop going on about how handsome and charming he is." kai added, laughing slightly.

"so are you saying i'm the problem?" both beomgyu and kai nodded. soobin looked down at his barely eaten food. 'maybe they're right. maybe i should give mr choi a chance. i just want my mother to be happy.' he thought with a frown.

"but you don't have to pressure yourself into liking mr choi immediately. we know how much you hate him for this." beomgyu said as he patted the blue haired males back.

"does daniel know about this? maybe he can give you some advice since he has a step dad. maybe went through the same thing." kai suggested. soobin shrugged. "i could ask him but he hates his original dad. i'm sure he was happy to have someone better in his life."

kai and beomgyu shared a look reading each other minds before nodding.

"ok we got a plan but you can only know about it after you pass the audition." kai started. "also i'm still need his number." beomgyu added. "why?" soobin asked. "it's a surprise." beomgyu replied with a wink.

soobin was sat in his english class, staring out the window as he hummed his audition song. luckily his teacher was off sick and the substitute didn't care.

"soobin?" a classmate of his called out to him, making him turn around to face them. "oh seokjun. what's up?" he greeted the male. "my sisters friends want to speak to you at break. they told me to tell you to meet them at the music room." seokjun said.

"do you know why?" soobin asked. seokjun shook his head. "they just told me where you have to meet them. but i'd go if i were you. they can be very intimidating at times." the blue haired male nodded, thanking him before facing the front.

there was still a lot of time left and he had no unfinished homework to tend to so he decided to send daniel a text, though the male was probably asleep.

i'm auditioning for my schools music stage and i'm so nervous
i think i'm gonna not go through with it...

he stared at his message for a few seconds, wondering if this was a good idea. he sighed, locking his phone. 'maybe i should just start work instead of auditioning. i'm gonna fail and just embarrass myself in front of everyone.' he thought, looking out the window with a frown on his face.

his phone buzzed, soobins heart beating fast as he picked it up to see a reply from daniel.

nah i can't sleep
but aren't you in class??

yeah but our usual teacher is off sick and our sub is currently sleeping

ok well you should at least try and get some sleep

soobin smiled down at his phone. from how daniel first talked to him till now is somewhere soobin never thought he would get to. the daniel he first talked to was cold and honestly a bit of a dick but he warmed up to soobin rather quickly. even with soobins shitty english, he understood quickly and helped the younger even though he hated the idea of pen pals.

the class ended and it was now break. soobin packed up his belongings and left the classroom, heading to where seokjun said the girls would be.

he arrived at the place but it seemed he was the first one there so he walked into the empty music room to wait for them.

once he got in, the door slammed shut, startling. he turned around to see three girls standing at the door.
