soobin walked through the school building halls with a headache and a makeshift uniform that he made from daniels tight old school uniform shirt, black jeans and the cardigan daniel gifted him.

he had said goodbye to daniel when they entered the building since daniel wanted to ask the coach about joining the basketball team, even denying the translation help by his boyfriend, saying 'it's all good baby' before taking off in the wrong direction.

soobin was very happy being in a relationship with daniel. he's even more happier that daniel is not gonna be his step brother because that convo would surely be awkward with their parents.

"choi soobin!" a voice yelled from afar, giving the said male deja vu vibes.

he looked through his glasses and saw kai running towards him with sunghoon walking behind with sunoo.

"turn your goddamn phone on when someone is trying to warn you!" the younger scolded soobin, hitting him on the arm before hugging him tightly. "i needed to tell you something so badly but when i couldn't get through to you i got worried and asked beomgyu for daniels number." kai choked out through fake exaggerated sobs. soobin laughed, pulling back from the hug.

"you sound like beomgyu. i'm okay. i just turned it off to get away from my mom." he admitted, covering himself up more with the cardigan.

"what happened? was it about mr choi again?" kai asked, walking with soobin towards the other two. soobin shook his head.

"it was about my dad this time."

kais jaw dropped as he looked at the elder in shock. "your dad?! w-w-why? did he come back?" soobin nodded. "he pulled me over yesterday when i was dropping junnie off. he had been living in canada before moving back but when i told mom she got angry at me so now i'm staying at daniels for awhile." he explained, frowning.

"she got angry at YOU? what the fuck? maybe you should just move in with your dad now that he's back."

kai was right. soobin is better off moving in with his dad because at this rate, it's only gonna keep going down between him and his mom.

the boys split up and went to their classes, soobin however was called to the principals office for some unknown reason. he half expected it to be his mother dropping off his uniform or something but he didn't expect to see daniel and jeremy sat next to each other with cuts and bruises on their faces and the basketball coach standing behind them with crossed arms.

"soobin come on in. sit by daniel." the principal spoke, gesturing towards the empty chair by his boyfriend.

"what happened?" soobin asked as he took the seat, eyeing daniels bruises worriedly.

"mr han would you please." the principal spoke to the coach, sitting back in his chair.

"daniel came to see me asking if he could try out for the basketball team, saying he used to be the team captain at his old school when jeremy came and asked the same thing. daniel then started to yell saying he got there first, and that he needs to fuck off." mr han explained, staring at the back of the two boys heads.

soobin was confused, turning in his chair to look at the coach. "t-then why did they attack each other?"

"that i don't know why. i had left to answer a call and came back and daniel was on top of him punching his face. they still haven't said what happened." mr han said with a shrug.
