it was a saturday morning. soobin had made plans with his friends to visit it new mall that just opened not far from where soobin lived.

he picked out his clothes for today, getting changed into them after having a quick shower.

he fixed his outfit in the mirror, taking a quick photo to post on his instagram.

as we went downstairs, he received a text message from kai, telling him to pick them up whenever he's ready.

"mom! can i borrow the car?" he called out to his mother, fixing his hair. "where you going?" "just to the new mall with beomgyu and kai!"

she walked out into the hall where he stood, fluffing up his hair. "be safe on the roads and follow the rules. don't want a repeat of last time." she said, handing over the car keys to her son.

soobin thought back to the time he first drove the car, getting into a major car crash at a red light which ended in him getting whiplash.

"but mom i was the one who got crashed into remember?" he corrected her. "plus i'll be fine. i gotta go now. bye i love you." he kissed her cheek before heading out the house to the car parked in the driveway. he unlocked the car, getting into the drivers side. he fastened his seat belt, plugging his phone into the aux cord and blasting his music.

the first stop was beomgyus place, being only 10 blocks away from his own. beomgyu was already waiting outside after getting a text message from the elder that he was nearly there.

beomgyu ran over to the passenger seat, quickly hopping in.

"we need to make a quick stop!" beomgyu shouted as he put in the directions. "yeah okay why?" soobin pulled out, driving off. "i need to pick up something."

soobin took beomgyu to the place, parking outside and watching the younger get out the car and go inside the building. he waited for the boy, singing along to one of his favourite songs that came on.

"louder than bombs, i break.

but you say i'm somethin'er than somethin."

beomgyu had returned to the car without the elder knowing, secretly filming him sing. he opened the door, sliding into the seat.

"let's get this show on the road!" beomgyu yelled, turning the music up louder as soobin took off.

"so how are you and terry?" the elder asked the younger, turning a corner. "we're doing great actually. terry is coming here next month to study so i can't wait to finally meet him in person!" beomgyu gushed as he talked about the other. "what about you and daniel? or should i say yeonjun." he teased, soobin shaking his head.

"we're great as well. daniel still won't let me teach him korean even though he's coming here in a few weeks."

"you should make a deal with him. something to get him pumped for learning korean. terry already speaks fluent korean but that's what he did to teach me english."

soobin thought about it for awhile. it did sound like a great idea to him but what would he even bribe the older with just to get him to learn korean. he could send a selfie but he does that already. maybe he could promise himself phone call or get him something he really wants. he doesn't know.

he eventually turns up in front of kai's house, waiting for the other to come out the house. the boy comes running out the house, his hair a mess and his clothes lopsided. he quickly got into the car, fixing himself in the mirror of his phone.

"the fuck happened to you?" beomgyu asked, turning in his seat to look at the younger.

"i got dressed too early so i took a nap and only just woke up." kai spoke. soobin let out a laugh, finding the youngers habit adorable.

they turned up at the new mall, soobin trying to find a empty parking spot in the car park.

"where shall we go first?" kai asked, stepping out once soobin parked. "well they got everything so we should look around first. but i'd like to buy some new clothes." soobin said, walking beside his friends. "yeah! and i wanna check out the music store!" beomgyu cheered.

the three teens walked inside, being greeted by the cold air inside the building and the sight of many stores on all three floors and tons of people.

soobin looked around in awe, shocked at how big the mall looked compared to the outside.

"let's not just stand around! let's go!" kai yelled before dragging the two into the crowd.
