"Are you sure you want to tag along? I mean, you have a comeback—"

"Shush."

"Okay."

With a smile draping over my features, I turn back around to face the mirror and adjust my shirt and pant. The cotton scarf goes around my neck slightly later and a mask is ready in my hand.

I check the purse and fill it with more essentials and walk downstairs to find Taehyubg already leaning over the couch, watching some random TV show.

"Finally." He says, taunting me for the time I took to get ready.

We wear our shoes and step out of the house, getting inside my car.

"Wear your mask, handsome."

"Yes, your majesty." He says and salutes, giggling like a child later.

"Hmm I was wondering if the florists are open at this time. I mean it's only eleven." I mumble and start the engine with him looking at me with confusion.

"I guess they will be. Why to a florist though?" He asks, oblivious.

"Dylan and his wife, Laura are gonna be parents soon, again." I share the information with a smile and he makes an astonished face, clapping his hands for a short time.

We hit the road and Taehyung looks out of the window, his mask up high and sunglasses covering his features entirely.

"Say, if he ever talked about getting back with you, should I punch his face and dislocate his jaw or punch his balls so he—"

"Be quiet, Tae." I deadpan.

"Sorry, not sorry."

How amusing.

Immediately after we buy the giant floral deco, we reach my old apartment and see the door of my old flat wide open. The scent of man cologne and lavender fills the air as soon as I enter the flat along with Taehyung.

"No way..." the voice hits me up like a truck loaded with obscene but pretty memories as tears slightly sting at the back of my eyes.

He was there, in the kitchen with the apron on and a baby boy in his arms.

"Norse? Taehyung?" His voice raises a little up in surprise as we close the door behind us to protect my artist boyfriend's privacy.

It was like deja vu, placing the bouquet in Taehyung's arms and watch Dylan put the baby on the ground as I hug him with all my heart.

"Fuck you." I say earnestly, a mixture of emotions spiraling in me as he chuckles like a cross-born between an angel and a devil.

"That's such a wonderful way of greeting your best friend." He says, patting my shoulder and back.

"Best friend?? My ass. You ruined my life but I swear I did not find a single human who could get so close to me." I say, parting from the hug as I looked back at Taehyung who was only watching us with a poker face.

"But then again, Taehyung was the spotlight and the centre in my life and that changed me a lot. Physically, mentally, emotionally. I'm so lucky!" I exclaim, holding out my hand for Taehyung and his large palm engulfs mine with love and security.

"I'm so glad you found such a person like him, Norse. He's great for you and so are you to him. I ship you both like hell."

"Hell?" Taehyung innocently asks, not completely knowing the reference but thinking it was for something negative.

"No, baby. Anyway, who's this!" I coo and lean down on my knee to greet the child playing on his own at his father's legs.

"Meet mini Dylan. His name's Kimmel." He introduced the boy to us and I find the smile finally making its way onto my boyfriend's striking features.

"Kimmel." He says in his cute accent and the boy responds with a gummy smile.

After a moment, a female's voice from inside the bedroom is heard and I look up to greet his spouse.

"Laura..." I say in a small voice and she smiles at me and the man beside me.

"Hello. You're Norse and...Kim Taehyung." She says with a mad blush on her face as me and Taehyung look at each other.

"Your wife's an ARMY Dylan. Good luck with being her first priority." I joke and earn a soft punch on my arm by the man, him calling her close to stand beside him.

"How do we look?" He asks with enthusiasm as he picks his son up and holds him in his arm, his other arm snaked around his wife's waist.

"Never seen such a better couple. Let me take a picture." I say and take my phone out.

The child, looking at his dad, poses a cutesy full gummy smile as he innocently plays with his fingers. Laura is attractive with her cheerful smile, her eyes shining as she looks into the camera and my heart melts and is honored to take a picture of a couple and the child who are so far away from unhappiness.

A tear unknowingly makes its way down my cheek and Taehyung is the first one to notice it. He takes me into his embrace and the two adults coo and awe at my state of ecstatic emotions of happiness.

"Aww what made you cry, aigoo." Taehyung caresses my hair and a sudden jolt of sense of familiarity fills in me.

I sniff and part from his warm embrace, holding his hand in mine for support as I speak.

"Four years back from now...I never thought all this would happen, guys. Really, I was clueless about my future and never thought it would be so bright, so full of happiness. My old self would be so jealous." I say and bite on my lip to hold an ugly sob back, the baby boy looks already concerned.

"Me neither, buddy. But look where we are. Happy, prosperous and healthy. Kimmel is truly the biggest gift and a blessing I've ever received in my life. Thank you, my wife." He said those words with sincerity, like a proud father and a husband should always be grateful to his family.

He kissed his child on the cheek, an innocent kiss which translated to 'daddy will always protect and love you no matter what' and another peppering kiss on his wife's crown of the head to show his gratitude for having him in her life and making him the man he is today.

She accepted him despite his past with me and his personality. He's a lucky ass bastard and he deserves every punch I throw at his face in the future.

After awhile of emotional talks, we are ready for lunch time.
