Part 1.

It's the end of the day right now, all of us were at the house, besides Levi who went out to Trost to give Erwin an update. Mikasa, Annie, Historia, Connie, and I were preparing dinner. Eren and Ymir were still unconscious.

"(Y/n)..." Connie says as he hesitated while pealing the potatoes.

"What is it Connie?" I reply.

"How do you do it?, how do you stay so strong when your world could come crumbling down at any moment?" Connie asks me in a helpless voice.

"This is about what happened to your village isn't it?" I question.

"Figures you would see through it, Nothing gets past you now" Connie says.

"Look, Connie, the reason is because I have to, there is no other way around it. I can't let my world crumble or humanity will crumble as well" I say to him "However, killing mercilessly will not keep any world from crumbling either. Everyone has a reason for what they do, moreover, that reason always has to be put into consideration before taking a life"

"Is that why you spared Reiner and Bertholdt?" He asks.

"Yeah, you could say that" I replied.

"Well...right now, all I've been able to care about is getting the chance to bring down the beast titan. That hairy bastard took everything from me, I want it dead" Connie says. His hand was shaking as he went to peel a potato. I grab his hand, and looked at him.

"I give you my word Connie, next time we face that fucker. I will rip him for limb, and make sure who ever's inside suffered for what they've done to you" I tell him.

Connie stops shaking and I let go of him "Thanks...I wish I could be of more use though..."

"Don't worry about it, You are plenty useful, just keep doing what your doing" I say to him. We then hear loud shouting come from the sleeping quarters "Seems Eren is up now"

"Took him long enough" Mikasa state.

"He was missing his face" Annie adds.

Eren comes running out of the room and stares at us "Am I dead?" He questions.

"No, but everyone thinks you are" I state.

"You ate me" He tells me.

"Well, kudos to you, no one will be coming after you for a while" I say to him "Be thankful"

"So what, I play dead?" He questions.

"Pretty much, the world now thinks you're dead. Which is probably the best way to protect you at the moment" I reply.

"God, my heads killing me..." Ymir says as she walked into the kitchen.

"Look whose up" Historia says while smiling.

"What time is it?" She questions.

"Almost dinner time" Historia replies.
