He stood there beside the car keeping the door for me open, looking pissed. I bid my goodbyes to all and walk towards the car. He slammed the door shut once I was settled in my seat. In my defense, I was only four minutes late. The car hummed and we start moving. I spend all my early morning  preparing myself a thank you speech for him but now I am scared to move an inch. He drive fast as if want to get away from me as fast as possible. I looked out of the window preparing myself again.

"Thank you."

That's all.

That's all what came out of your mouth when you spend your night writing that three pages thank you speech.

But even those two words have dried up my throat and I didn't even said them loud enough to get an reaction from him.

He heard me right? Because he is clenching his jaw tighter now.

He look super pissed. I better stay quite till we reach or I'm sure I will be dump dead around the block.

The huge building began to come in view and I got tensed visibly. But it's not the time to freak out. I took a deep breath and let it out. Clutching my little bag tighter in my hands I wait for him to stop the car.

Eventually we reached parking lot and  he stop the car but didn't unlock it. When I look up beside me I found his black dark orbs staring right back in mine. His jaw was still tight but his eyes were wavering.

"You represent me now." His sentence had no anger in it but the facts. I'm aware that I represent him here now. How I behave will be directly related to his reputation here.

Before I managed to nod he added the main sentence he wanted to deliver to me.

"So don't embarrass me." He looked away to the front of car, unlocking the door.

I didn't wait any longer to get far away from him as much as I can. I felt my back burn under his gaze but I didn't turn around even when I heard a door being slammed shut behind me.

I thought I was walking faster until I heard fast footsteps behind me before a tight grip on my arm swing me around only to get slammed in his hard chest. I let out a little umph at the impact bringing my hands up to bring some distance between us. It pissed him more. Clutching my wrist he slammed them back on the nearest car. I was panting now, I was freaking out. He lean on his weight on me making my lungs protest to breath.

"Next time you ran away from me like that.." he bring his face closer to mine and I flinch back. "I will make sure that You regret it."

He let go of my wrist all of sudden and as he lift his weight off me I was able to breath again.

What was that?

What the hell was that?

I look at the both ends of parking. One side is the way to home and another is way to hell.

I took another breath full of air and decided that if it means dying then I rather die before I succumbed myself to some people who think they own me.

There are so many people who are ready to see me fall and I can't afford to let them have that pleasure.

Finally I began to walk towards the entrance of the building where Randhir just entered.

Reaching the reception I told them the reason of my arrival. They instructed me to a room which was more like a big hall with three big round tables in different corners of room. The room was decorated with plants and a clear view of the city outside from that big glass window. There were few people in the room talking informally to each other while some were busy in their phone. I walked to the window and looked down.
