Randhir walked inside the house grumpyly. He wanted to blame the rain for his grumpy mood but he know why is has been so grumpy today. He was hoping to see her in office today. But he expected the stubbornness from her, she was pretty clear last night about discontinuing the internship but Randhir still hoped that a sleep would have changed her mind.

A delicious smell hit his nose when he walked passed the kitchen. He saw Peter smiling at the food he was serving in three plates. It was pretty late for dinner time. Zayn and Zara usually slept till now.

Peter look behind Randhir and searched.

"Is she mad at me?" Peter whispered.

"How would I know?" Randhir grumpiness was evident in his voice.

"Are you mad at me too?" Peter asked.

Randhir huffed. Ofcourse he was mad. But not at him. But Peter, standing there innocently, made Randhir more mad at himself.

"I told you to do something. Only one thing." Randhir taunted before walking into the hall.

"What are you saying?" Peter followed him really quick. "I do everything you say."

"Then why couldn't you bring Sanyukta to office today." Randhir feared he just showed some care towards her so he quickly added. "You know how difficult it was to get her into that internship."

That sounded mean but it was better than showing he cared for her.

"What?" Peter eyes squinted. "But I dropped her to your office today."

I made Randhir stop thinking for a second.

"What?" Randhir asked totally in disbelief.

"Shit." They both murmured as they both realise they both have been so stupid.

One waited all day to have a glimpse of her while other Prepared her favourite dinner to make her happy.

Fools.

But within an instant Randhir was back on work.

"Stay here. Call me if she arrives." Randhir orders before returning the way he just came..

The rain was heavy now. But Randhir knew he can't be more grumpy about rain now even if he tried to be.

Sanyukta hair were wet and it stick to her face now. She pull all her hair back from her forehead with both palms. Regretting another of her decision to continue walking aimlessly, so now she is sitting on a bench in some park, drenched in rain.

But there a was different kind of peace with her today. As if she don't have anything to loose, free of all insecurities, free from all her duties or responsibilities. There was a calm in chaos. The rain made it difficult for her to keep her eyes open so she closed them for a moment.

"Sanyukta." The whisper was more like a gush of wind. But she was sure she heard her name. Opening her eyes she looked ahead. There was no one in the entire park in this heavy rain. Only her.

Then she looked beside her and she gasped at sight of her sister. She was about to shrike but then she saw her sister smiling innocently. She hadn't aged a single day. She was just like she saw her last time. Just like she used to see her in nightmares.

"It's time for you to let me go." Mahi whispers. " It's been so long you have been keeping me here, I have to go. You have to let me go now."

The rain mixed with sanyukta tears and ran down her cheek.

"It wasn't your fault." Mahi added.

Sanyukta look down at her because of their height difference now.

"You didn't deserve what happen to you." Sanyukta sobbed.

" It's not you who decide what anybody deserve. We all get what we deserve." Mahi voice was soft as she tried hard to make Sanyukta understand. " No less, no more." She added.

"and now it's time you start accepting the love you are receiving. Without thinking that you don't deserve it." Mahi inches her hand closer to sanyukta.

"You have been giving so much to others, now it's time for you to receive." She finally joined their hand and it suddenly felt like this is the kast time sanyukta is going to see her sister.

" Open up your heart, be open for receiving. Lots of love is coming your way." Mahi voice drop low at end and sanyukta saw a car stop at the entrance of park.

When she look beside her again. There was no one. Just the rain falling hard over the hard surface of bench.

A man get out of the car and start walking straight towards her. The rain was making it hard to see clearly but by the body language, sanyukta know it look familiar.

The man ran a hand up his hair pulling up all the drench hair away from his face.

A sudden feeling blooms inside sanyukta heart at his sight. The thunder mumbled loudly as if giving a sign to sanyukta.

Soon Randhir reached near the bench and sanyukta stood up on her feet. Her clothes felt heavy now because of being drench. Her hands cold, her brain numb.

"Don't you dare to do that ever again." Randhir huffed down at her before clamping his big hand over her small hand and pulling her staight into him until she is pressed into his body. He wrapped his both arms around her waist and rest his face on her shoulder. Sanyukta felt his heart beating hard against her chest. It took a moment for sanyukta to react back. Bringing her face down to his shoulder, she hold him as tight as she could. It flicked a switch inside Randhir and it made him hold her tightly.

The thunder roared again as if he really liked what he see.
