Chapter Twenty-Seven: The Transcripts (Mini-Game)

This is a mini-game chapter.

(A/n): If you don't read this author's note, you WILL 100% be lost.

Today, we'll be doing things a bit differently. Today, this chapter will NOT take place on Wattpad (yes, you read that correctly).

Follow the synopsis below:

'INTERROGATION ROOM F' was Keith Shadis' favourite questioning room for many reasons. For one, the other officers rarely chose to use this room due to its far situation from the elevators and staircase. But most importantly? The thermostat was always set to 14°C; a rather cold temperature.

Uncomfortably cold. But it was always crucial that Shadis interrogate a suspect in a cold room.

Why?

Because it made them nervous and uneasy. No man would dare to lie when in such distress. It was a natural human reaction. It was either they'd utter their truth, or utter nothing at all.

Keith Shadis needs your help finding the transcripts of his interrogation with Petra Ral. Using the clues you've read from 'Only You & Me', help him find these documents and you'll be able to access them yourself! Answer a question wrong? You'll have to start over.

Remember: Shadis needs these documents. One mistake could cost the investigation.

(A/n) cont'd: I have set up a game for you; a quiz. It may be easy or hard depending on how well you remember the story details. All of you have access to the necessary information in this story.

If you get every answer right, you will be given the option to open a PDF or a document. Open it to access Keith Shadis' transcript.

Get even one question wrong? Start again (that sounds mean, but oh well).

Some of you may be asking: "what is a transcript?"

Police transcripts in particular are like written recordings. The same way a voice memo keeps track of every sound we make, a transcript keeps record of everything that is said in an interview room.

You may have heard of other types of transcripts like school transcripts; which are used to keep a record of your grades in university, college or high school.

Why is this transcript important/relevant?

The transcript you will try to obtain is important because it contains information about who the stalker might be. It is a recording of the interrogation Keith Shadis has with Petra (if you go to the previous chapter, you'll see that Shadis was thinking of bringing Petra in for questioning).

Why couldn't you just make this a regular chapter?

Because I'm very extra.

But also because I wanted to make this story as interactive for you as possible. Obviously, this isn't some sort of Episode story, but I wanted you guys to try something a bit different than what you're used to (becauseIloveyouguyssomuch<3).

Is the mini-game hard? Cause I don't know if I have the energy-

It shouldn't be. Everything you'll need to know is in this book already. Except for one question in particular... If someone asks about it, I'll give them a hint. The quiz should take less than five minutes.

I'm confused; this chapter isn't on Wattpad?

Not exactly. In the comments, I will post a link to a mini-game quiz that is NOT on Wattpad. It is on my Quotev. That is where you'll spend 1/3 of your time unlocking the transcript.

Another 1/3 of your time will be spent reading the transcript on a PDF or document (depending on your preference). So, technically, the chapter is on a document. Because the chapter IS the transcript...

Hence the title of this chapter.

What do I do if I can't unlock the transcript the first time? Can I try again?

Yes, you can try as many times as you want! Until you get the answers right, the transcript won't be made available to you.

Pfft...no.

But again, there is a particular question (I won't tell you which one) that I wouldn't mind giving hints to. It doesn't have a very obvious answer, so I'm willing to help you out on that one.

Why so much pressure?

Because pressure makes diamonds (I'll stop...)
