"lunches packed?"

"yep" yunho smiled

"okay, go watch tv" seonghwa chuckled, this happened every monday. the boys usually fight the most to get up on mondays, so they recently started packing their lunches the night before so they could have time to do other things in the morning.

mingi uses the time to do homework, if he doesn't have any he just goes on twitter. yeosang does the same but if he feels energetic enough he'll practice violin or piano in the basement, yunho sometimes does homework, but usually he watches tv or youtube. wooyoung takes a nap on the couch, somehow he never messes up his makeup. san plays video games and jongho watches tv with yunho.

"who's taking us to school today?" wooyung asked yeosang, but yeosang just ignored him and walking downstairs to practice his instruments. they're still not on good terms, because what mingi said was true, wooyung didn't mean it and yeosang wasn't dumb. a half-assed apology doesn't fix anything

"okay" wooyoung sighed out, yunho shook his head

"papa is, i don't know why you try talking to him as if that apology wasn't the worst thing to exist" he chuckled

"so the whole family turned against me, and won't except my apology because it wasn't a long essay on how much a love him?" wooyoung exaggerates

"no one said it had to be an essay, but you have to mean it when you apologize it can't just be 'i'm sorry' and then you're done. you don't learn from your mistakes that way" yunho lectured like a mix of hongjoong and seonghwa, hongjoong liked to have a sarcastic tone half the time, unless you really pissed him off, and then seonghwa usually goes into detail. he's great at explaining how you fucked up, and how to not fuck up again

"but i am sorry"

"are you? or are you sorry that you got in trouble?" yunho questioned "there's a fine line, but its not that hard to read though"

"whatever" wooyoung huffed and slouched into the couch cushion

"also, the whole family didn't turn on you, well maybe jongho, but we just wish you'd take your anger out on something other than us" yunho finished off

wooyoung just sat there, scratching at his cuticles. he felt embarrassed, and the worst part is, he doesn't think he feels that way because of how he acted, he feels that way because no ones on his side and it makes him look bad.

"stop picking at your cuticles, you'll make 'em bleed" hongjoong said as he walked passed, tapping the boys arm to make him stop the habit.

"too late" he mumbled. hongjoong sighed, then rubbed the boys head

"okay, come on" he said then started walking to the downstairs bathroom. wooyoung followed his dad into the bathroom and watched him get out the first-aid kit to get a band-aid. hongjoong got a wipe out from the box, grabbing wooyoungs hand gently to wipe away the tiny bit of blood, then grabbing a band-aid and putting it around his thumb

"there you go sweetie" he said before putting the trash in the bin and the box back under the sink. wooyoung mumbled a small "thanks" and just stared at his thumb. hongjoong could tell something was wrong
