Hunter wanted to play the petty game that was alright but I didn't need to be there for it there were other useful things that I could be doing with my time rather than worrying about why he was mad and if he was still salty about the shit I pulled the other night he could sit there and sulk all by himself but he wasn't boutta drag me along with him id had far other pressing matters to worry about other than his feelings for example like finally visiting my mother
Now I know what your thinking how come you didn't visit your mother the second you got back from school well the thing was I did actually but surprise surprise my mother wasn't even in the state cause as you can guess she was busy working right now I staying in my old home alone and obviously she wasn't here but I let her know that I was staying so she had my brother dave come and give me a key then after that he'd left I was hoping he'd at least stayed with me but it seems like these days daves got other priorities and that's cool and all my brother's life shouldn't have to revolve just around me and only me but it'd just be nice if he took the time to just spend the day with his little sister and just catch up for old times sake it wasn't too much to ask for but it was obvious moms absenti behavior was starting to rub off on him
I got up off the couch once I heard the doorbell ringing already knowing it was Jennifer I unlocked the door letting her know that she could come in while I made my way back to the couch to resume my online studies ''Jennifer would you be a doll and grab me a bottled water from the freezer please?'' I asked without even looking up
She didn't say anything she just left I'm guessing to do just that witch I found weird usually she would have a snarky response waiting for me or be ready to curse my ass out whenever I treated her like a (maid) but I didn't look too much into I figured as much she was probably in a good mood
"Jennifer get over here real quick I need your help on something'' heavy footsteps came stomping towards my way letting me know that, that was definitely not Jennifer in front of me I looked up, and of course why wasn't I even surprised that it was hunter in the front of me playing me like a damn fool this whole time ''what are you doing here?'' I asked him calmly without even looking up from my computer
He handed me the water bottle id requested but my pride wasn't about to allow me to take it from him so there it stayed in his hand without me budging to do anything about it until he finally got the hint and removed it from my reach ''look heaven I'm sorry'' he said taking a seat right next to me on the sofa but before that could happen I moved myself along with all my school gear I didn't trust my self not to do anything stupid besides him so it was smart for me to get up and just remove myself before I did
"Seriously?"
"Yeah seriously hunter you came all this way for nothing because I'm not coming back until I'm ready until my terms so I'm sorry you wasted your time coming here but well I'm not coming back at least not now''
