"Hunter, hunter, HUNTER!!!" I looked up from my desk wondering why the hell my brother was screaming my damn name like that "what?" I asked
"I've been calling your name for the past five minutes man, where the hell did you go?" he asked, handing me a cup of coffee.
"You're being dramatic I didn't blackout for 5 minutes stop exaggerating'' I watched as heath took out his phone from his pocket then shoved it into my face allowing me to look at a timer he'd had set up from what looks to about almost 5 minutes ago
"Was that really necessary? You do the most for absolute reason"
"Look I only did it cause I knew you were gonna tell me that I was wrong so I had to set up my proof somehow like dad always used to say always be prepared" I shook my head at my brother then rolled my eyes
"What is it that you want heath? Are you bored? Why are you in my office? Is there something that I can assist you with?'' I asked eager to get my brother out of my office already so that I could get back to what I was doing thinking about heaven I missed my girl after almost a month of not seeing her or having no physical contact it was frustrating but I tried to understand where she was coming from and for the most part I did
"Does a brother need a reason to wanna come and hang out with his younger brother? I feel like I never see you man, what's been going on with you?" heath asked me making himself comfortable on my couch
"What are you talking about?" I asked I knew that he was getting at something but I think it would have just been easier for the both of us if he'd just came out with it and spit it out
"nothing man nothing I just want you to talk to me sometimes let me know what's going on with you cause like I said we never talk its like were all strangers to each other living in the same house like it's some kind of hotel you think we haven't noticed how distant and secretive you've been around everybody so id just figured the office was the best place for confrontation"
"What is this a therapy session?"
"No I just want to know what's going on with you is all make sure that everything with you is alright"
I took a few minutes to myself to think about what heath was saying. Was it really that obvious I didn't give anybody a reason to think that I was doing anything wrong Heaven and I were both two grown consenting adults who knew exactly what we were doing but was this about heaven? Even if it was or not it shouldn't have been anybodys but our business until we felt like putting everybody else in the loop if you asked me if I saw a future with her I would tell you hell yeah I did she wasn't the type of girl you just let go of just cause you could heaven was special she was my special girl
"Heath I'm sorry to disappoint you man but I don't particularly need to fill you in on every little detail that goes on in my life somethings can stay private if I say so or want them to be that way its something called privacy you know what I mean right?"
