I was already awake before sound of my alarm rang, there's no need for this thing I thought but I still keep it cause you never know. I brushed my teeth after which I watched my face before rushing out. Everywhere was still quiet which means they are still asleep. I love morning so much, who wouldn't do after sleeping not less than eight hours. I guess so many people will disagree with me
I rushed down to prepare breakfast. I opened the fridge, it was totally filled. I didn't know what the girls like and the woman who I should ask is still sleeping. I decided to make bacon and egg and pancakes. I put my music on dancing as I hum the song.
You are a horrible dancer a voice suddenly says Interrupting my moment
I knew the owner of the voice but the embarrassment I was feeling of her catching me dancing is totally consuming that I pretended I didn't hear her.
She didn't say anything else about my dancing which I'm very thankful for instead she stood there doing nothing which is creeping me out in a good way. I couldn't stand her stares so I turned
Oh you are here! I said like I didn't know she was
Yeah I'm here and you are a horrible dancer. There's probably a dancing tutorial around the corner, go check it out she said
This woman sure knows how to embarrass people, maybe I should play this game too
"You done checking me out?" I said giving her a pose
"Huh you wish"
Maybe you can teach me some necessary moves since you are so good at it"
"That's a lot of food for four persons you know". Totally changing the conversation
I didn't know what you guys would like so i prepared a lot
"You would have asked"
"I would but you guys were still asleep, I couldn't just barge into your room__ "I made coffee by the way" I said offering her the coffee which she took
"Okay thank you" She replied sipping the coffee. "Nice by the way"
"What?" I asked looking at her
The coffee!, tastes different but in a good way
"Thanks, I learned from the best". We kept quite after that, she seems difficult to have a conversation with but she's warming up to me I think...since she has been initiating conversation.
Are you ok? I asked
"Yeah" she said sitting silently on the chair. She seems to be thinking something serious and upsetting and I probably know what
"I saw and heard what happened last night" I said knowing that I'm about to cross the line
"Yeah I know, I saw you eavesdropping" she said not looking pleasantly
I wasn't, you guys woke me up I said trying to defend myself. I know i did eavesdrop but it wasn't my fault, they were the ones shouting knowing fully well that I and the girls can wake up
"Hmmmm...
I'm sorry, I shouldn't have I said knowing that is true also
It's fine! That is not my problem right now" she said
So what will you tell the kids I asked taking the stool beside her, our legs brushing together which she jacked away immediately
I don't know, I can't lie to the kids. I teach them honesty everyday but telling them the truth will hurt them
You should not lie but instead avoid the truth. Like ignoring to tell them what really happened.
And how should I do that?
Your dad traveled last night and you guys were sleeping so he said he's going to call you guys when he reach. He is going to buy a lot of your favorite stuffs

Maybe you should write it down so I can memorize it she said smiling and I guess I solved her problem. I would do anything to see that smile.
Mom! Olivia shouted rushing downstairs with a frown

Sonia peed on her clothes again, I should have my own room mom!
Where is she? Her mom asked ignoring her last comment
Still on her bed crying like I did it
Her mom rushed upstairs to get her.
Why can't I have my own room? she asked looking frustrated at me
Cause your sister is too young to stay on her own
So I get to take the punishment? She asked frowning
Staying in the same room with your sister is not a punishment
Wait untill you hear the screaming when you are having the best sleep cause she urinated on her clothes
I chuckled softly, straight like her mom. "I guess that wouldn't be fun" I said
"It's not totally that's why I want my own room. I can't wait to be an adult" Olivia says now calming down a little
"Come on, let's go brush your teeth"
"Where's Dad?" She asked
"You should ask your mom, she probably knows"
Ok she said going upstairs with me
She has her mom features, infact she's the young replica of her mom.
We went to their room and I saw their mom preparing their bath. I should do that I said indicating that's what I was here for
Don't worry, I got it she said dismissing me and I didn't like that feeling
Can we have a moment? I asked
Uh Sure! Both of us stepping out of the room
I'm not trying to be rude but that's my job I said
I know she simply said
"Then why are you doing it, you gave me three months to prove myself to you and I want to do it but you are not giving me the chance"
"They are my children, my house and I do what I want. I want to run their bath and that is final. If there's nothing else, I will take my leave then" She said leaving. I was surprised at her outburst, if she can't allow me to do anything, why else am I here.
I went into my room to pack my stuffs as fast as I can
What are you doing? She asked. What is she doing here, doesn't she have a bathe to run, whatever I thought
Packing as you can see" I answered getting pissed all of a sudden
Why? She asked if it wasn't obvious
I can't do this, a jealous mom who thinks her kids is going to love their nanny more than her
I didn't mean to be..... she stopped

"Rude". I would really appreciate it if you could stay
"Mrs Gerald, I'm not here to take your kids away from you. I am here to do my job which is to take care of the kids and get paid in return. If I don't do my job, I don't see any reason why I should be paid

I thought you would be happy if I go, why are you trying to stop me? I asked really not getting this woman.
"I gave you three months and I will like to see that three months go before kicking you out"

Yeah I will" I said still waiting for her to leave.
She stood there for some looking at me. I was wondering if she has anything else she wants to say. I was getting uneasy and she might have noticed it
"Ok I will leave you to it" She left the room and I heaved a sigh of relief cause I don't think I have anywhere else in mind to sleep if I had left earlier
