Chapter Fifteen

   .      I forgot the storm, the slippery road and any other thing, as I dragged her. The two guys who I hitted first were now chasing us. I got to the car opening it for Lisa and going towards the other door to enter. I speed out giving them my middle finger.
        We were drenched, I pity our neighbors who out of goodwill gave me their car, they are probably going to regret it. I was breathing hard, so was she. I was looking at her, admiring how beautiful she is with all her clothes and hair wet, she's like a goddess of our time. I totally forgot I was driving when I heard a car horn. She shouted my name and that as enough to bling me out of my own world.
        Did you save me from those morons just to send me to an early grave"
       Maybe it wouldn't be so bad  I said now looking at the road. I on the heater cos we are now actually cold. So wouldn't be. We didn't talk again until we reached home. The girls were still awake and Sonie looks like she's been crying all along and Olivia looks worried, I think she's trying to be the bigger person but I can see behind all these facades that she was terrified. We took them in, I promising the couples that I will watch their car tomorrow morning. They objected it telling me it was fine but I was still going to do it.
       I went up to change and take a bath so did she. I quickly took a bathe and change into a big sweater and short withy socks. I think I will catch a cold. I went down going into the kitchen to prepare a hot tea. As I was sipping the tea, seating on the kitchen stool I heard Lisa coming down the stairs towards the kitchen. The girls were not with her. I asked her where the girls are, told me they're asleep. She was like wise putting on a sweater and a sweatpants
        Here I made this I said offering her the hot tea I made for her. I knew she as going to need it.
       Thanks you she answered taking it and sitting down beside me. We both kept quite sipping our tea. The silent wasn't awkward, it was rather peaceful.
      Thank you she suddenly says still looking at nothing.
       That's nothing I said already knowing what she was thanking me for
        It's not to me, you risk your life to come save. Not everyone will do and I don't know if I deserve it
         I care about you so you deserve it I simply said
         I'm sorry for this morning, I shouldn't have tried to do what I almost did
        What ? I asked. I wanted her to admit that she wanted to kiss me
          What I tried doing this morning she said avoiding calling it out
            What? I repeated again
           When I tried to.....you know.... She kept quite
          She was having a hard time saying. Why is it hard  for her to to say. I raised my eyeballs indicating I want her to finish it
       I'm sorry for trying to kiss you this morning she said sipping her tea. Was she feeling guilty about what she did..I mean we almost did. I wanted to kiss her as much
       I am not sorry I said
       Huh? She ask
       You weren't the only one trying to kiss this morning, I also wanted to kiss you I said turning to face her
         She looked at me to know if I was messing with her but I wasn't. She looked surprised after
         Oh? That was the only sounds she made
         Yeah I said. I want to kiss you again...I mean we didn't actually kiss but I want to actually kiss you this time" I said hoping she doesn't go running away
        I'm married she said looking down twisting her fingers lightly
        Do you want to kiss me I asked
        She looked at me again, looking away. She took her tea sipping it slowly. I thought she wasn't going to answer me
        Yes and it's so wrong to want to she voiced out lowly. She actually admitted it. As much as this was wrong, I wanted to actually do it.
        I want to kiss you too I said  itching closer to her. Was she going to run or stop me. She wasn't doing neither. She seems to be debating on her head right now
         Hey, we are going to just kiss, nothing else. You don't have to feel scared I said trying to assure her
         I'm not scared she said looking at my eyes for a brief second before looking behind me.
        I held her face wanting her to look at me, she did
        I am going to kiss you so tell me if you want me to stop I said giving her a chance to stop me. She didn't say anything so I guess that says a lot. She wants me
        I drew closer to her, our faces were only inches way that if I moved my lips, I'm going to meet hers. I looked at her eyes before finally kissing her.
       The kiss was slow and sweat. I kissed her holding her face while stroking it. She was tensed at first but she relaxed and finally kissed me back. She closed her eyes as the kiss started heating up. She opened her lips giving me a chance to explore the inside. Was this actually happening or am I going to wake up anytime soon and realize that it was all a dream. She tastes so good, a mixture of sweet lemonade and the tea she drank just now. We kissed a while longer before she pulled off, holding me. Her lips were red and swollen and her blue eyes have gotten a little darker.
          That was ......she tried saying but I stopped her
          Amazing I finished for her not wanting her to ruin this moment for me
          I was going to say awesome but amazing is good too she said smiling
          Oh yeah?
          Yeah she said smiling a little
           I suddenly sneeze, I think I an going to catch a cold I said
           Oh after the Storm, I will run to the store to get you a medicine for that she said feeling my temperature. I think you are going to have a fever
      Yeah and thank you?
       That's the least I can do after all you have done. You are going to get sick cos of me
       Well it's not like you told me to come, it's all on me
        You can stop trying to convince me
         Okay I said
       We were through with our tea, she washed the cup keeping them in their rightful places. I was still cold and I really needed the warmth of my bed.
          I want to sleep, you should do the same too she suddenly says
         Yeah I said. I was on the first floor before I actually remembered that we haven't talked about what happened right in the kitchen. Is this a one time thing?, Are we going to pretend like this night never happened or are we going to do more of that. I turned to voice out what I thought but she beat me to it
        Let's talk tomorrow she said  looking me up
         Ok I guess I said as I went up to my room laying on my bed. This night couldn't get any better I thought. I smiled thinking of what just happened down the kitchen. I played it in my head repeatedly until I slept off to the world unknown a smile lurked on my lips as I dreamt about the woman with an amazing blue eyes
