The past two days has been wonderful with Jeanie. Tonight was going to be another wonderful night. Jeanie had gotten a dress for me which totally fits me.
Jennie drove us to some fancy restaurant down town . I have gotten used to Jennie's taste, she loves fancy stuffs. Jeanie already booked a table for us, when we entered we were directed by one of the staffs to our table. It was at the end of the corner facing towards the entrance door.
We sat down getting ready to order. I didn't know what to get, everything looks fancy and unfamiliar. I looked at Jeanie who had already ordered waiting for me to do so too. I gave her a questioning stare, if she's going to take me to some fancy restaurant with so many unfamiliar dishes, she should be able to order for me too
Getting my massage, she ordered for both of us. The man left to get our order while we talk about bunch of things. People were coming and going and because I was sitting facing the door, I was able to spot someone very familiar. Wait, I watched the person look around, maybe looking for someone untill our eyes met.
Lisa?" She was shocked to see me so was I. We haven't seen each other for like two year now and dear God she looks.......Hot!
Jeannie noticed me staring behind her, so she turned to see the person I was mopping at. I sat there not being able to move, this was the last place I thought we will bump into one another.
She has changed in a good way. Her hair was neatly trimmed and she dyed her hair to brown, she was wearing a dark blue dress with a golden short heel. Her eyes drifted to the woman I was sitting with and I felt something. She doesn't look surprised, so was Jeanie. Do they know each other I thought
Before I was able to comport myself and go meet her, I saw a lady on black gown approach her. She directed her to a table which wasn't far from ours. They both sat down opposite each other.
Was she on a date with that woman because I know Lisa doesn't have any friend except Cynthia. Was she on a date...with a woman? I got curious. What happened to John. Curiosity made me look at her left finger, she wasn't putting on any ring, maybe she doesn't want the woman she's meeting to know she's actually married
I heard Jeanie cough tryin to get my attention. She saw me staring at Lisa on our date. Our order arrived shortly after but all my attention was at the woman sitting opposite end.
I couldn't help but watch her as a hawk waiting for it's prey. The way she talks and makes gestures trying to say something, the way she chuckles. Call me a creep but I watched her every move, I even know when she fakes her smile or try to sound like she's interested in whatever the damn woman was saying
Everyone in the restaurant can see how obsessesd I was even Lisa did. Lisa glanced at me, call me a dreamer but I actually saw hurt in her eyes. Jeanie got up walking out of the restaurant angrily, she probably noticed it too.
As much as I wanted to talk to Lisa, I needed to follow Jeanie. I paid for our untouched food following Jeanie out
The first thing I felt when I stopped Jeanie from walking away was a slap across my cheeks. I deserve that not that it makes anything better.
"Where are you going"
she looked around taking a deep breath "where do you think, clearly my girlfriend is busy obsessing her ex"
The only thing I was ables to capture was Ex. I mean I told her about her but I didn't show her, then how did she know she's my ex not that she is. I think she noticed what she says cause she was looking at me with horro and regret. She didn't know when it slipped from her lips
"How do you know she's my........Ex"
She binked her eyes few times sighing "We met some time ago"
"What time ago?"
"You know what, the matter here is you. Clearly you are still in love with her"
Was I? I mean I thought I moved on but seeing her here gave me this weird feelings that I haven't felt forever.
"Shit!, are you kidding me you are still in love with her?" she asked getting twice as pissed as she was
"I didn't say that" having this conversation here at the front of the restaurant where anybody can come by was not comfortable with me
But you didn't say you ain't" she asked
Can we go home? I asked hoping to continue this conversation somewhere else other than here
"No, we can't cause I'm the only one going home.......you can go fuck your ex cause that's what you been doing with your eyes" she says bitterly before stopping a cab to leave.
Fuck! I hit my foot on the car tyres that was parked beside me
"My car tyers didn't do anything to you" I heard a familiar voice say behind me. I looked back to see her
Oh I'm sorry.....wait how long have you been here" I asked hoping for it not to be long
"Long enough to hear the last thing she says before leaving"
"Great.....what are you doing here?'
"I can go if my company is not needed" she says heading towards her car
I stopped her "No that's not what I mean". Of course I wants us to talk. "Where's your date?"
"Where are you going to sleep tonight since clearly your girlfriend doesn't want you home with her"
Was she indirectly offering me a place to stay..... but I can't there is still John
How's your husband..... and the girls. Oh God I miss them ? I asked curious about them
John? He's fine and the girls, you cants blame them if they are pissed at you. You didn't exactly say goodbye and if you miss them, there's something called visit"
I might be stupid but not enough to know that she didn't acknowledge John as her husband. She of course knew why I couldn't visit the girls
"You wanna get out of here?" she asks motioning for me to her car. Of course I wanna go anywhere with her, I nodded heading towards the car that was opened by Lisa
I guess Lizzie still has some feelings for Lisa after all, Now we see they both still do, will they be able to act on it
