"Come on, buddy, wake up," Tony kicked Steve lightly. He gasped, snapping his eyes open. "That's my man," he held the shield in front of him, "You lose this again, I'm keeping it."
Steve turned to Y/N, on the other side, panting, "What happened?"
"Side effects of Time travel," Y/N answered, "You'll see." A few strands of her long H/C hair fell out of the braid that Nat had did for her and there was a small barely bleeding cut below her right eye. Her face was caked with dust and soot, just like Tony's.
"You mess with time, it tends to mess back," Tony continued and both him and Y/N helped Steve up to his feet.
Tony led the way as Y/N and Steve followed him. They reached an opening of the tunnel formed by the collapsed building and walked out of it.
Standing on the edge of the broken debris was Thor, staring ahead at something beyond the collapsed buildings. The trio followed his gaze and saw Thanos, seated on a block of concrete with his double-ended sword fixated on the ground beside him. His helmet was rested on top of it.
"What's he been doing?" Tony asked sharply when the Titan lifted his head to look up at the four.
"Absolutely nothing," Thor answered, shaking his head in disbelief.
"Where are the Stones?" Steve's eyes were locked on Thanos.
"Somewhere under all this," Tony glanced at him, "All I know is that he doesn't have them."
"We better keep it that way," Y/N spoke up from between Steve and Tony, eyes blazing into the Titan.
The men nodded, clenching their jaws for a moment.
"You know this is a trap, right?" Thor pointed out.
"Yeah," Tony agreed slowly, "I don't much care."
"Good. Just as long as we're all in agreement."
Thunder rumbled in the sky and Thor out stretched both of his hands. A streak of lightning hit him and both Stormbreaker and Mjolnir flew to his hands. His beard was braided, hair tied up in a half bun and was now in his armour.
