"How're you doing, squirt?" asked Happy.

"M'good," Morgan replied curtly.

"You hungry?" 

"Mhmm," she hummed, twisting the hem of her black dress.

"What do you want?"

"Cheeseburgers," she answered and then her eyes went wide in excitement, "Ooh, and can I get a shawarma too?"

Happy sat stunned, his heart wrenching, "You know, your Aunt Y/N loved shawarmas," he added with a chuckle.

"Yeah, I know," she looked up at him, "She promised me she'd take me out to eat together one day with Mommy and Daddy."

Happy rested his head back on the wall, "Tell you what," he steadied his voice, "I'm gonna get you all the shawarmas you want."

"M'kay," Morgan beamed up at him, not noticing the way his eyes welled up with tears.
