📍TOKYO, JAPAN
Clint, in his Ronan look, stood opposite to Akihika (a local thug) in the middle of the road as they both circled each other.
"Why are you doing this?" Akihika asked in his native language, "We never did anything to you," he pulled out his sword from the sheath holder.
"You survived," Clint replied in the same language, "Half the planet didn't," he spun the sword in his hands; the blade vibrated as it cut through air, "They got Thanos. You get me."
Clint blocked Akihika's sword with his and stepped back. He ducked when he swing the sword at his head and clashed it with his own. He blocked every blow and punched Akihika in his abdomen, making him stumble back, as he held his sword in position.
"We hurt people?" he scoffed, gesturing at the dead men around them, "You're crazy!"
He swing his blade and it came to blows with Clint's. Pushing it upwards, Clint directed it away and punched Akihika again. He flexed the sword forward; it was inches away from Akihika's throat, making them freeze in their positions.
Akihika shouted in Japanese as he lunged at Clint. The two directed their aims at each other, ducking and swinging their blades whenever possible

Clint hit him in the face, making him stagger bit and ducked past him under his arm. His blade slashed his thigh in the process. Akihika charged forward; Clint swung his sword sideways with a yell, lacerating the Japanese thug's throat.
Akihika fell on his knees, gagging and placed a hand on his neck in an attempt to stop the bleeding. He dropped his sword and tried to reach out for Clint, "Wait. Help me! I'll give you anything," he added hopefully when he walked to him. "What do you want?"
"What I want," Clint said in English, "You can't give me," he drove his sword right into him. Pulling it up, he placed the blood tainted blade on his bicep and dragged it to wipe off the red.
Clint hung his head low, pushing his hood back. He pulled the mask off, letting the rain fall on him, "You shouldn't be here," he spoke to the two assassins behind him, not bothering to turn just yet.
"Neither should you," Nat responded, holding the umbrella above herself and Y/N.
Y/N was observing the dead bodies; blood pooled on the ground and mingled with the puddles of water in the floor. She gritted her teeth together in an effort to hold back a shiver, as the memories of the murder and crime she had committed in the past flashed before her eyes.
Raindrops falling down his face, Clint glanced at them and then back to his sword in hand, "I've got a job to do."
"Is that what you're calling this?"
"Killing all these people isn't gonna bring you family back," Y/N stared at him.
When he didn't reply, the two women started to walk forward, "We found something," said Nat, "A chance, maybe."
"To undo everything," Y/N continued, "And make things right."
Clint looked up at him with a defeated expression, "Don't," his voice shook.
"Don't what?" she frowned at him.
"Don't give me hope."
Y/N bit her inner cheek when she felt a pang of ache in her heart at his words. Nat pursed her lips for a second, "We're sorry we couldn't give it to you sooner."
Hesitantly, Y/N and Nat caught Clint's either hands, squeezing it firmly in assurance and letting him know that they were there for him.
