"Hey! Y/N, what was that?!"

Your eyes are still wide since you didn't expect someone to be here and it's even your best friend.

"You just jumped out from a 5th floor are you crazy?!"

"Yep, I am. Are you not angry with me anymore?"

He flinched at the straightforward question you asked since it's really the one that's bothering you.

"Why would you say that?...I'm not angry.."

"Yes you are and you know I don't like people who don't confront me when I did something wrong"

"No..you didn't do anything wrong.."

He held his other arm looking away from your gaze then you sighed.

"Shinso, tell me what's wrong? Are you not comfortable of saying it?"

"No..it's really fine..I'm just..I don't know"

This is the first time you've seen him act like this towards you then you just let it go since he's uncomfortable talking about it.

"Okay, if you really don't want my presence I'll give it to you.. but please don't be angry with me too much. I hate it"

You looked at him sadly when you're about to walk away but he grabbed your arm.

"No..I like your presence..no..I love it, that it's bothering me these past few days"

"What do you mean?"

You turned to him then he let go of your arm and looked at you with straight face.

"Y/N...I really don't want our friendship to be changed even after this but I really need to say this to you to get it out of my chest..even though.. I already knew you have someone in your heart"

He looked away looking sad then your eyes widen, deeply sighing as you finally got why he's being like this.

"Say it"

"Huh?"

He looked up at you with wide eyes then you looked at him with neutral face.

"If it will help you to get it out of your chest, say it. I won't judge you, I won't tell anything, and I'll still treat you like before, there's nothing that's gonna change"

His eyes started to get watery when he looked down and grabbed your shoulder like it's supporting him.

"This is exactly why, these feelings developed. You're like this...you're just too perfect!"

You just quietly listened to what he's saying while tears are starting to leak out of his eyes now.

"You're the only who was there for me in middle school..you're the only one who told me I can be a hero despite my quirk..you're the only who didn't get scared of me...you're the only one who treated me as normal..you.."

He looked up at you crying that also makes you starts to cry now. You don't want seeing your best friend crying like this.

"We bonded each other..we shared our secrets..we both love animes..we go to Chinese restaurant when we are sad..you..you're the only one who stole my heart.."

A tear fell down now on your cheeks when he moved close to you looking at you straight in the eye.

"Y/N..I love you..not as a friend anymore and it's starting to scare me!"

You were a little bit taken aback, hearing those words directly from him even if you are already prepared yourself from what's coming.

"I don't what to do! I-I..I don't want to break our friendship because of these stupid feelings! I still want to bond with you like before but-"

He sniffled before continuing

"I can't look at you anymore like the same before. I want to kiss you now everytime I see you! but I can't do anything like that...because I'm not allowed to, and because I'm afraid that someone will get hurt. That's why I'm also kinda lost these past few days..regarding with you and Todoroki"

He looked away saying that while you're already crying then he looked at you again.

"So...please..can I still love you from afar? I'll restrict myself to do anything more than friends but I really don't want to be away from you just because of this!"

You gulped already crying too much when you sniffled and used your sleeve to wipe the tears away on his eyes that made him flinch while you are smiling.

"Really..who's the straightforward one between us?"

You chuckled slightly while he's still crying when he grabbed a handkerchief in his pocket and wiped away your tears as well.

"Don't cry, I don't want you crying"

He said while you still continue to wipe away his tears.

"Me too"

When you're both finished and finally calmed down from crying. You started to laugh at each other at how red your eyes was and puffy it is.

When you took the initiative to hug your friend pulling him into a tight hug like you always did before while he rested his head on your shoulder.

"You know, that's really brave of you to say that. You're braver than any of my classmates"

"Really?"

"Yeah, so thank you too..for saying that to me. I've never heard someone say that to me directly and has that deep feelings for me, you really are special Shinso and that won't be replaced in my heart..remember that"

"Yeah..thank you Y/N. I'll try my best to maintain this friendship since I always treasure it"

"What do you mean? I'll try too-"

"No Y/N..I will be the one to adjust. I'm the one who had a change of feelings so.. I need to do this alone"

You break each other's hug and looked at each other.

"Are you sure?"

"Yep, don't worry. I can do it"

You smiled and ruffled his hair.

"I know you can"

You smiled when you heard the bell inside the school and it's the signal for you to sneak out now back to your house.

"Okay Shinso, don't tell anyone you saw me here okay?!"

"Wha-"

"I have no time explain, see you when I see you again! Bye bye!"

You waved off and disappeared in front of Shinso who just sighed pinching the bridge of his nose while looking at the sky.

"Seriously..why did I fell in love with this girl?"

Thankfully he didn't notice I was in a hospital gown, I can't afford to make him worried about that incident.

You ran faster avoiding all the obstacles and cars along the way, continuing to run like a ninja finally arriving at your street and appearing at the side of your house since that's where your window is.

You jumped at the wall block in front of you using it as a stepping stool to finally hopped on again to your window and opened it quietly before walking inside of your room.

You made sure your own door was locked before changing into casual clothes, opening your laptop to proceed with your plan on defeating All For One.
