Chapter 5

Y/N's POV

Loki had been gone for weeks now. I needed to wait patiently for his return. After what he did, he couldn't exactly walk back into the palace and face no consequences. Frigga and Thor visited me often, since I had refused to leave my room.

I sat in my room reading a book. One of Loki's books to be precise. I heard a small noise coming from the balcony. I put my book down. I walked towards the doors and opened them slowly.

There he was.

"Loki !" I said hugging him tightly.

"I missed you too"

After a minute or two he let me go.

"I have been given a second chance at ruling a kingdom. Midgard. And you, my dear, will rule with me" Loki said as his eyes became blue.

"Loki ?" Y/N said, concerned.

"I'm sorry" Loki said as he put the scepter in his hands on my heart. My eyes became blue before going back to their usual E/C hue.

And with that, we were off to Midgard.

We were in a facility, Midgardians surrounding us, fear written across their faces as we appeared before them. They pointed their weapons at us.

"Sir, please put down the spear" Said a man with an eyepatch, referring to the spear given to Loki by the Mad Titan, Thanos.

Loki used the Mind Stone in the spear to destroying some equipment. The Midgardians tried using their primitive weapons, but they had no effect on us. We both attacked. Loki used his spear to wound the Midgardians, while I used my magic to make the humans join our cause and fight against their own.

Since Loki's supposed death, I've changed. I've become less merciful.

I walked towards the assasin protecting the man with an eyepatch. He had his gun in his hand ready to shoot. I put my hand on his head and used my powers to make him switch sides. He let go of the gun.

The man with the eyepatch looked shocked that one of his best soldier had become nothing more than a puppet.

Loki used his spear to control people too. We were creating an army. But we had not realized that the man with the eyepatch, had stolen the Tesseract and put it in a case.

"Please don't. I still need that" Loki said

"This doesn't have to get any messier" Said the man with no fear in his voice.

"Of course it does. We've come too far for anything else. I am Loki of Asgard and I am burdened with glorious purpose"

"And who's she ?" Asked the man pointing at me.

"My wife, Y/N. She has enough power to destroy all of you and your pathetic little planet"

"Loki, Y/N. You're Thor's family ?" Asked a man with grey hair.

"We have no quarrel with your people" Said the man with the eyepatch calmly.

"An ant has no quarrel with a boot"

"You planning to step on us ?"

"I come with plans of a world made free"

"Free from what ?"

"Freedom. Freedom is life's greatest lie. Once you accept that in your heart, you will know peace" Loki said as he used his spear on the man who previously asked if we were related to Thor.

"Lady Y/N, Director Fury is stalling. This place is about to blow and drop a hundred feet of rocks on us. He means to bury us" Said the man whom I used my powers on.
