Melissa stared dubiously at the map in her hands. After they had all got cleaned up, they decided to go into the village and start the search for jobs and more clothes. Sarah had divided up their money equally between them and gave them each a map of the village she had got earlier. They all agreed it might be easier to find work independent of one another.
She was not even sure what she wanted to do. She had worked a myriad of jobs and had not completely liked any one of them. She cast a glance at the newer district that had sprung up behind the stone faces. That might be a good place to start. With new construction, that meant new businesses. She shifted course and followed the streets until she found the train stop. She absently patted down the dress she was wearing. She normally didn't wear them and had balked when Sarah produced it for her.
"Come on, Melissa, I got us all dresses. This place is old fashioned and when we're looking for jobs, they're more apt to give one to someone that they feel is 'dressed right' than someone that doesn't meet their expectations."
Klaudia had nodded her agreement, "She's not wrong."
Melissa groaned before grabbing the dress and going to the bathroom to clean up. She had to admit, in the warm balmy air the dress felt good. The top was a bit snug though and she felt like she was going to spill out of it if she moved the wrong way. Being big breasted was not always what it was cracked up to be. As she looked around at the other women in the village, she was definitely a lot larger on top than the vast majority of them. She was getting a number of looks from the men that was making her a bit uncomfortable. She did have to laugh though when one of them got caught staring by their wife and she had smacked him upside the back of his head.
She gasped and had to hold her dress down as the train came into the station. She hoped to god no one saw that brief flash of her underwear when it whipped up before she could throw it back down. She glanced around and was relieved that no one appeared to be looking at her. Damn dress. I can't believe I let them talk me into wearing it. As soon as she could, she was going to shop for clothes that she actually felt comfortable wearing. Namely way oversized shirts and comfortable pants.
Melissa quickly got on the train ahead of the large crowd ready to board and took an open seat by the door. She crossed her legs under her seat and rested her forehead on her palm. Her face felt hot. At least no one saw that.
"Is this seat taken?"
She lifted her head from her palm and looked up. She was speechless as her eyes met warm brown. She might not have recognized him if it wasn't for the scar across the bridge of his nose. Iruka Umino. It wasn't that he didn't look like his Anime version per say, it was just seeing him in 3D that momentarily startled her. He looked more Asian than she expected which was so hot. She always had a thing for Asian men but seeing him was... mind blowing. She shifted over and motioned for him to sit down, not quite able to speak. Damn, Klaudia called this one.
Iruka Umino had been on his way to see one of the parents of one of his more troublesome students as he waited for the train that would take him to the newer part of Konohagakure where they lived. He had not been looking forward to the encounter as the parents were from a more affluent family and undoubtedly would not like what he had to say to them. A flash of bright pink had caught his attention and he had turned his eyes towards it.
The owner of the bright pink hair was gorgeous. She was wearing a light blue dress that ruffled slightly in the breeze. She was very small in stature and petite all over. She glanced in his direction to look down the line as if watching for the train. He was mesmerized. Her eyes were a shade of blue and green he had never seen before in his life. When she looked away again, his eyes went down her frame and his mouth dropped open. He had never seen a woman as well endowed as she was and he felt a jolt in his libido.
The train came up while he was staring at her and he noticed that he was not the only one watching her. One lady caught her husband staring at her chest and smacked him upside the head just as the train blasted past. Her dress blew up and she caught it but not before he got a look at what was underneath. He rubbed the back of his neck and knew he had to approach her before someone else did. She was looking around, her face very flushed as the doors to the train opened. He hurried up but it took him a moment to get into the car due to the crush of people. He was stunned as he got on board and saw her sitting in a seat right next to the door. The look on her face was embarrassment, no doubt from the blast of air that had tossed her dress up. He could not believe that no one else had sat down next to her.
"Is this seat taken?"
She looked up at him and a strange expression crossed her features, almost as if she recognized him. That wasn't possible though because he knew almost everyone in the village and he definitely would have remembered her. Those blue green eyes momentarily blindsided him again before she shifted a bit in the seat and motioned for him to sit down. He sat the shifted slightly to look at her.
"Are you new to the village? I haven't seen you around before."
"Yes, I just got in last night."
"Oh, I'm sorry. I'm Iruka Umino. I'm the principal at the Academy," he said while extending his hand to her.
"I'm Melissa Wright," she responded with a smile that reached her eyes as she took his hand.
"What takes you to New Konohagakure?"
"I'm hoping that I will be able to get a job," she responded. "I thought... new homes, new businesses..."
"What kind of work are you looking for?"
Melissa's face turned a little pink and she gave a soft chuckle, "I honestly don't know. I've done all kinds of work. I've taken care of the elderly and dying. I worked as a clerk in a store. I even worked as a cook and waitress at one time. Honestly, I'll probably take the first place that hires me."
Iruka turned more in his seat so he could face her more. "You know, the Academy has a couple of positions open right now."
Melissa was surprised at the words and even more surprised at the look in his eyes. She had seen that look before and it was making her limbs warm and her heart beat faster. His eyes would every so often shift down to her lips then back up to her eyes. Oh my God.
"What kind of jobs?" she asked softly.
He tilted his head to the side with a smile before answering, "There is one position in the library as an assistant to the librarian. Another is in the cafeteria. The other one is a secretary position."
Melissa blinked, "Secretary position?"
Iruka rubbed the back of his neck and gave a nervous sort of laugh. "Yeah, they're saying I need more help with all the paperwork. I've been kinda putting off hiring anyone but if you want it..."
Melissa felt her face flush as the word "Sexetary" went through her mind. "But you don't even know me. I mean, what if I'm a total flake at that sort of job."
His face turned a little red and he chuckled nervously, "You look like you'd do a good job."
Melissa laughed hard and covered her face as she peered at him through her fingers. She then lowered her hand and put it on his thigh as she lowered her voice as she leaned towards him. "Is this how you ask all girls out or just me?"
Iruka's face turned more red then he started laughing, "On to me are you?"
"Just a little," she answered with a grin and moved just a little closer to him. "I'd love to go out with you."
He let out a breath then smiled that beautiful smile of his. "I was being serious about the job, though. If you want it, you can have it."
"Won't that be a conflict of interest?"
"Only if things don't go as well as I hope," he countered.
Melissa laughed and gave a nod, "Okay then."
"I have to meet with some parents. Since you're officially my secretary now, you can come with me and then after... I know a place I'd like to take you," his dark eyes were gleaming and she felt giddy inside.
"Sounds like a plan to me... Mr. Umino."
"Call me Iruka."
