~hospital~

Quiet tears escaped my eyes. I heard hesitant footsteps, looking up i saw a guilty, worried, and tired Vic. I sighed, looking him in the eye. "I-It was a m-istake." He started. I nodded. "It's fine, sit." He nodded, sadly smiling at me. "Mr. Quinn, a word?" the doctor asked. I sighed, walking with him. "Mayra is perfectly fine. She just needs to stay a few more hours." I grinned, hugging him. "She just needed a stomach pump. That and some rest. But she's all fine now. Crying. But fine." I nodded, patting his shoulder. He let me get Vic, then we went into her room. She was sitting with her knees to her chest. Her eyes were puffy and she was staring at the tv. Basketball. I walked over to her bed, sitting. She looked over, sadness all over her face. "Don't worry, I understand." I whispered, pulling her to my chest. I stroked her hair, humming. Vic stood there, admiring us. "Mr. Quinn, Mr. Fuentes, We need to take her in for a test now." A nurse said. We nodded, leaving.
