Chapter 11- drowning

28 years later-
It's been 28 years sense the curse was cast and honestly me and mother got bored of course we had each other but everything was the same otherwise mother adopted a baby boy so I could have a brother she named him Henry and he's ten now he's the only one who can still age in this town sense he wasn't part of the actual curse but last week mom told him he was adopted and he's been distancing himself from both of us I love him a lot and sense we're the same age now we've been like best friends are teacher Mary Margaret or snow gave him a book that he showed to me when he first did I was quite shocked it was a book full of the stories from are old land even the one about mother but the book sided with snow like most every one else yesterday he told me he was going to try to find his birth mother in Boston and of corse I thought it was crazy but then I remembered how badly I wanted to know my birth mother when I was in the orphanage and agreed to go with him I hope we don't scare mother to bad when we disappear for a afternoon but we'll be back I pack a back pack discreetly as Henry watched the door once I'm done I zip it up and we both walk over to the window Henry pushes it open and I drop the bag onto the ground before climbing onto the tree beside the house and jumping down to the ground I look up to him and say "your clear come on" only a few seconds later he lands on the ground next to me and I help him to his feet he grabs the bag before smiling at me and we start walking down the road we make it to the town line and I takes Deep breath before crossing Henry steps beside me and I grab his hand before saying "are you sure you want to do this Boston is quite far from here" he nods and says "I need to" I nod and we walk to the closest bus station then buy 2 tickets for Boston we walk onto the bus and I sit on the window while Henry sits on the outside he takes out his book and starts flipping through the pages for most the ride I'm quite nervous and I keep thinking about mother and start to feel bad for leaving I know she hates having me or Henry out of her sight and now both of us randomly disappearing I sigh and put my head agents the window until we arrive me and Henry quickly grab are things and get off the bus I look around the big city in shock before Henry says "should we try and get a cab?" I turn to him and nod before looking around I see one parked and tap Henry's shoulder he looks to me and I point to it before saying "we could try that one" he nods before we make are way over there her knocks on the window and the guy rolls it down Henry holds up snows credit Card and says to the man "you take credit cards?" He nods and says "we're to chief" a smile spreads across his face and we both get in the back seat I smile at him and say "well Henry you wanted to go to Boston you got it" he hugs me witch takes me by supervise and says "thank you Charlotte" I smile and nod as the car comes to a stop we both step out and look at the tall apartments in front of us we make are way to the elevator and come to the floor it said she lives on we walks around for a while looking at numbers on doors until I hear Henry say "Charlotte I found it!" I turn around and walk up to the door Henry knocks on it and i tense slightly when the door opens to revile a blond woman she looks down to us confused "can I help you?" Henry smiles slightly and says "are you Emma swan?" The woman looks to us confused and says "yes who's asking?" I see the look of mischief in his eyes and he says "I'm Henry and I'm your son" the woman eyes widen and Henry pushes past her into the apartment I grone and say "Henry that's rude" and push past the woman following him she closes the door behind us and says "kid I don't have a son" Henry walk over to the countertop and I just stand beside the fridge as Henry says "did you give up a baby for adoption 10 years ago in Phoenix, that was me" the woman puts her hand agents the wall and says shakily "give me a minute" before going in the bathroom I turn to Henry wide eyed and say "way to go give it to her easy" he shrugs and yells "do you have any juice... wait I found some" he grabs some orange juice from the counter and takes a sip of it as the woman comes out from the bathroom she turns to me and says "who are you" I smile awkwardly and say "um sister" she nods and turns back to Henry that talk a little bit I don't pay to much attention all I hear is something about police and a superpower but that Emma woman's gonna drive us back home we've been gone for a few hours and I don't want mom upset I get in the back seat and Henry gets in the front with Emma we drive for a while before we finally get back to storybrook Emma says "so can a get and address?" Henry smirks and says "24 not telling you street" Emma stops the car and gets out slamming the door behind her I get out too and so dose Henry while Emma and Henry are arguing I decide to just walk home I make it half way when I see Emma's car drive bye I keep walking until I reach the house a little later when I do Emma's bug pulls out and she stops when she see me she rolls her window down and says "hey kid where did you go your mom is worried out of her mind" I sigh and say "I just wanted to walk" Emma nods in understanding before diving off I walk up to the sidewalk and the door opens mom runs up to me and bends down giving me a hug I hold her tight and she says in concern "Charlotte where were you!" I sigh and say "Henry wanted to find that woman and I couldn't let him go alone so I went with him and I was tired of riding In that yellow bug so I walked the rest of the way home" mom pulls back from the hug and holds my face gently in her hands "I was so worried come on let's get inside" I nod and mother puts her arm around my shoulder and we walk back inside mother looks down to me and says quietly "it's been a long day let's get you to bed" I nod and we both walk upstairs I sit on my bed and mom opens my closet grabbing my pink night gown and handing in to me placing a kiss on my head before saying "get dressed I'll be back to take out your hair" I nod and she walks out closing the door behind her I stand taking of my light blue dress and slip on my pink dress i put in my slippers and grab my journal from under my pillow writing

Today I went with Henry to find his birth mother worrying mom to death in the process- cm

The door creeks open and mom walks in but now she's in her night cloths and has no makeup on I smile and put my journal back under my pillow before standing and sitting at my vanity mother stands behind me and starts to take out my hair she pulls the rubber band out from the top pice of my hair that was in a ponytail to keep it out of my face and grabs my brush running it through my long brow locks getting rid of all the tangles I sigh and say "I'm sorry for leaving" mother sighs and runs her finger through my hair before saying "please don't ever do that to me again" I turn around and put my arms around mother pulling her into a hug she sighs "I love you you know that don't you" I nod and mother motions me to stand I walk over to my bed and she pulls back the covers and I climb in and mom tucks me in I look to her and say "will you stay with me?" She stops and looks to me before nodding "sure" she smiles slightly and climbs in the bed beside me I turn to face her and whisper "do you remember we've we first found each other in the woods that guard you through into that tree" mother smiles and says jokingly"no one hurts my daughter" a small smile covers my face and I say "before the curse was cast cam took me with him to meet his family and he had an adopted sister turns out I new her from the orphanage" mother looks to me confused and says "what was her name?" I sigh and say "Ellie" mother looks to the wall as if she's thinking before saying "her name is Mae here she's homeschooled and lives down the road" I smile and mother turns of the lamp I snuggle up to her before drifting of to sleep...

I sit up with a gasp and mother looks to me confused my breath starts to pick up and tears fill my eyes mother puts her hand on mine and says "honey what is it" I start to shake and say "I had... a vision of Henry he was asleep, but he couldn't wake up" I start to sob and mother pulls me into her arms and I say "the curse something wrong I... I had a vision mom there back" I choke on my words and mother rocks me back and forth and says "calm down sweetheart somethings weekend the curse I'll fix it" I nod and finally get my breath under control I sigh and say "what time is it" mother looks to the clock on my nightstand and says "7, why don't we get dressed and go down to the beach and swim for the day" I nod and stand as mom leaves to go make breakfast I put on a bathing suit and a yellow dress over it before going downstairs me and mom eat breakfast and head to the beach Henry decided to stay behind once we arrive mom sets out a blanket and I take of my dress quickly running into the water I splash the water everywhere with my feat I walk deeper into the water so it's up to my waist and here mom yell "honey don't go so deep" but when I turn around a wave goes over my head pulling me under I try to go back up but I can never get air the vision I've had for years flashes through my eyes this was it my vision of me drowning I try to go up for air as I'm dragged out to see and I can still hear the faint calls of mother when the world goes pitch black...

I open my eyes and look around confused the world is blurry but then it starts to get clearer and I can make out that I'm in a hospital room the door opens and a nurse looks to me then yells "she awake!" Doctor whale comes in and starts checking things and says "you almost drowned but your mother jumped in the water to save you she should be back soon she had to get your brother from school" I nod and sigh just counting the amount of white things in the room when I hear the familiar sound of heels coming fast I look to the door and mother pushes it open she looks to me and runs over with concern on her face she moves the hair out of my face and inspects me and I say "I remember drowning but what happened after that?" Mother sits on the end of my bed she rubs my arm gently "well you gave me a heart attack I ran in and got you out from the water and drove to the hospital you where pronounced dead for 30 seconds but they shocked you and your heart started agin but it took you a week to wake up" my jaw drops and I say "wow, you know that vision I always had of me drowning that was it" mother nods and gives me a hug I sigh but take in the moment...
