Chapter 42- visits from the dead 

Mom healed my wounds it took about an hour total and lot of crying and we're both exhausted now but we have to meet everyone to go get Killian back mom drives me and Henry there "how long do you think we'll be gone" henry ask mom shrugs "I don't know" we pull in and walk through the woods to meet snow Emma charming, Robin and rumple snow steps forward "everyone ready" I look to mom as rumple pulls out a knife and walks up to the water cutting his hand I watch the blood drip into it turning red and a black figure on a boat comes up to the shore I feel my heart start to speed up but Henry puts his hand on my shoulder "it will be ok" i nod and smile stepping on the boat I sit beside robin and the boat takes back off I lay my head on his shoulder "is Roland with granny?" He nods "yes he's fine he misses you though every night I tuck him in and he asks for you" I feel a guilt come over me and sigh "I miss him to" we go through a sort of fog and Emma falls over as if she's passed out everyone looks to her shocked and snow is admeditly by her side I look to mom feeling a little worried but she gives me a reassuring nod and stands coming to sit on the other side of me I grab her hand and sigh ive missed my parents at least now I have a reason to be around them mom kissis my shoulder "how's you arm, ankle and back?" I shrug "my ankle feels normal my back just feels sore and my arm stings" she nods rubbing her thumb agent my knuckle

Emma sits up as we make it to a dock robin helps me of the boat and then henry after me once everyone's off we slowly make our way down it and come into storybook? Well it's not storybook but like a replica it's just foggy and redder? I look to henry "it's-" he finishes my sentence "storybrook" I nod and mom makes the same observation but shares it to the whole group and Emma says something about splitting up to look for hook. charming and snow go together as obvious Emma and Henry go together and mom and robin i decide to with them and we make our way down the street I observe the familiar but different town with curiousity but notice a guy following us I think mom notices too becise she grabs my hand and gives me a look before turning around and confronting him he just smirks "someone's waiting for you" mom looks confused at first but then her face falls I look at her confused then relise the only person he could be talking about is moms mom Cora I look to her feeling a slight fear creep up in me she's the woman who tore me form my mothers arms when I was only a baby and has done owfull things her whole life mom nods and slowly follows the man he takes us to moms office and opens the door we walk in slowly and moms hand is still tightly clinging to mine the chair slowly turns around to reveal a woman that resembles mom but it's obvious mom looks more like grandpa she smiles and mom says in disbelief stepping forward and letting go of my hand "mother" the older woman nods "I'm so glad your here" mom stands there for a second before they hug witch slightly confuses me I know mom didn't hate this woman but she's done a lot of wrong to her they pull away from each other and older woman looks at mom "I do have unfinished business witch would be you" mom sighs "you don't have to worry about me" the woman smiles "I just want you to be happy" mom smiles "then help me find hook and get out of here" the woman shakes her head "it's too dangerous" mom frowns "I'm here for my friends" the woman sighs "that's what's holding you back your friends your family your smothering for yourself" I can't hold back my toung anymore and I spit out at her "yah cause that's all you ever did" they both turn to me and mom give me a stern look but Cora looks to me confused for a second before her face softens "Charlotte?" I'm slightly taken aback that she can tell it's me or even remembers my name she's smiles and goes to cup my face but I step back she gets the hint and smiles look back to mom "Regina she looks just like you she's beautiful" mom smiles "thank you mother" Cora turns back to Regina "I've arranged for a boat to take you home in and hour take Charlotte henry and your thief and go sometimes a mother has to do what's best for her child" mom furrows her brow "are you threatening me" Cora shakes her head "oh no never but there something I have to show you" she waves her hands and we're taken to a cave like room and the man who brough us here is on the ledge Cora raises her hand and fire surrounds him moms face falls "mother what are you doing!" Cora countiues to surround the man as he screams "showing you your fate if you stay" the man falls of the clif into the fire and I look away as Cora continues "people only leave this place in two ways a better place or a worse one you have a third option go home or there will be a cost someone will suffer" mom looks at her confused "who?" Cora looks at her blankly "your father" both me and moms faces fall and mom Magic's us back and we head into town I decide not to say anything she seems pretty shaken we make it back to the group and everyone starts talking about what they've found when I here some say my name "Charlotte?" I turn around quickly recognizing that voice it can't be my jaw drops and tears come to my eyes "c-cam?" He nods and I run forward jumping into his arms as I sob "oh my god cam I'm so sorry" I cry on his shoulder and he rubs my back "it's ok" I pull back and look over his face for a second trying not to burst into tears again I hug him one more time before pulling back he looks to me confused "how are you here did you?" I shake my head "no I'm alive we're just here looking for Emmas boyfriend" he furrows his brown "I'm just happy to see you I've missed you" I nod "I've missed you to it's not been the same without you and Ellie misses you she actually got married!" His eyes light up and he smiles "really?" I nod "yep" we're interrupted when mom taps on my shoulder I turn around and she smiles "we're got a way to find Killian there's a potion we can pour on his grave that willl let us see him and talk to him" I furrow my brow "they have graves down here?" Mom nods "I guess so" we make our way to the graveyard and cam walks with us to killians grave Emma takes out a potion and pours some of it onto the dirt it takes a couple seconds but a hologram looking picture of killian shows up several gasps are heard as he look like he's been beat up very badly Robin covers Henry's eyes and mom covers mine me and Henry look to each other behind the shields of there hands as Emma frantic asks killian questions but he dosnt respond the hologram of him goes away and Emma sighs mom takes the rest of the potion and turns to me "Charlotte I want you to take the boat home" I look to her confused "mom we just got here" she sighs "we had a deal it's to dangerous you heard my mother you saw hook" I frown "why does henry get to stay?" mom sighs "he's not just my child he's Emmas too" I look down and look to cam "I just got him back" mom frowns and cups my face "he's already gone please you need to go home" I look to the floor and nod slowly she pulls me into a hug "thank you" I nod and she pulls back "go to my office find your grandma and have here show you back to the boat" I try not to show my dislike of her instruction and nod "but I wanna see grandpa first" mom looks to me and sighs pulling out the rest of the potion "come on then we don't have much time" I smile and we make our way down the rows of graves looking until I see it out of the corner of my eye I smile "I found it!" Mom turns around and nods walking up she opens the potion and pours it on the dirt she looks at the floor and I can tells she's gonna break he apers and gives me a small smile before turning to mom as she lets out a sob "I'm sorry I'm so sorry" he comes forward and hugs her telling her it's ok mom shakes her head but he resures her and turns to me opining his arms I hug him tightly as he laughs "I miss my reading partner now I have to read by myself" tears fill my eyes and I laugh "I miss you to grandpa" he pulls back and smiles "go on little one you have to get home" I nod and hug mom before running off I make my way to moms office I stand I front of the door and sigh before nocking a fimiler but colder "come in" is herd I open the door and see her in her chair facing away from me "I want to go home" she turns around and stands "I see come with me" she comes over and makes her way downstairs I follow her and she walks with me down the sidewalk it's silent and I like it like that until she breaks the peace "I'm glad I get to spend this small time with you" I clench my teeth and hold in my anger "mother forced me to come get you to show me the way just know I still don't like you" she furrows her brow "and why not" I pause in my tracks and look to her in disbelief "you tore me from my mothers arms your daughter as she screamed and cried at you to not take me" she looks at me confused "I did what I had to do how do you know" I laugh in anger "I see the future and the past so mother had to explain the not so nice nightmares I had to me" her face changes to a unreadable one "have you ever wanted to get rid of it" I laugh "every day it's a burden but I want put it on anyone else" we keep walking and she stops turning to me "put it on me" I furrow my brow in shock "what" she smirks "give me your ability I'll take the burden for you" my mind is conflicted this horrible woman I wouldn't mind her dealing with the tournament of the visions but what she would do with it frightens me but she's dead anyway what can she do I nod slowly "ok" she smiles as we make it to the corner of the lake the boat is Sean in the distance Cora smiles "quickly" I take her hand "I'm not sure how to do this" I close my eyes and foucuse it feels as though the life's being sucked out of me I gasp and fall to my knees as my power goes into her her face scrunches in pain and she trips slightly before regaining herself she looks to her hand in victory before helping me up and I smile slightly "good luck with it goodbye Cora" she nods "goodbye dear" and pulls me into a aqward hug I try not to rerun her gesture and I get on the boat it's a short ride. once I make it back i sigh in relief and decide to go to grannies to see Roland once I arrive I open the door and the bell rings I walk back into the hotel section to see granny at the counter with baby's Neal in her arms she looks up and smiles "Charlotte your back" I nod and walk over she pulls me into a hug "weres Roland?" She looks over and I see him asleep in the couch I smile and thank her walking over I sit down beside him and he stirs awake he smile and sits up launching himself in my arms "sissy!" I laugh and hug him "hey" he smiles "your back I've missed you" I smile admiring his little face "I missed you too"
