"So whats the plan?" Lucas asks Rose and I
I hate the whole idea of working with this Lucas guy, I don't trust him one but. If Rose really trusts him, I guess I have to just be okay with it. I just have to keep my eyes on him the whole time. Make sure he doesn't betray us. I slowly zone back into the conversation.
"Okay I am going to meet up with Tasha, I'll call her to make sure that we meet."
"But, before that I need proof that you two are dead.." Lucas looks toward Rose and says
"We are going to need the help from a certain guardian."
Rose groans Loudly and I just laugh and she looks towards me with a death glare.
"Sabine do you want to die?" She yells toward me. I laugh, followed by a snort.
"Rose you know your going to have to talk to him at some point." she looks down at her fidgeting thumbs, I try to rub her back to give her some comfort towards the whole situation.
"Yeah I know, lets just get this over with."
I grab my phone out of my pocket and hand it to her, she gives me a confused look.
"Rather sooner than later"
Rose grabs the phone out of my hand and walks over to the door and calls Dimitri outside. I talk to Lucas about whats required of him for the time being.
"So Lucas, your not planning on betraying us at some point, Am I right?" you can see his nervousness in the way he keeps opening his mouth to speak but no words actually find their way out of his mouth
"I-I P-Promise I'm not going to betray you" he stutters
"Lucas why are you so nervous? hm" I say
he gets up and walks outside where Rose is talking on the phone.
*Phone Call Between Rose & Dimitri*
(Rose's POV now)
"Rose?" "Is that really you?" Dimitri asks excitedly
I groan loudly in my head
"Yes Dimitri. Its me"
"Wh-Why are you calling? "
I'm slowly regretting ever leaving St.Vlad's. It was safe there. All I did was cause more trouble for the ones I love most.
"Because we need your help with something"
It takes him a minute to respond
"We? Who's we?"
Crap. How do I explain this to him?
"We as in Ava and I"
I'll just hide the fact Lucas is here
"Okay, where are you I'll be there by tomorrow afternoon, I'm packing right now." he says, determined to come here and be the guardian he's known to be
"I'll see you then. We are in New Orleans. You can find us when you get here. You know how to track me."
I sigh loudly
"Alright Rose, will see you tomorrow."
Right before I end the call he say
"I miss you"
*END OF PHONE CALL*
(still RPOV)
Lucas joins me outside just as I finished the call with Dimka, I mean Dimitri.
"Everything good out here" He asks cautiously
I laugh at his nervousness
"Yeah everything's good. I was just about to come inside.. whats wrong?"
Why would he come outside while I'm on a phone call
"Nothing. I was just getting scared of Sabine in there." he has a scared and funny look on his face.
"Haha, yeah she's a tough one. Its okay she'll be nicer, once she trusts you."
I walk back towards the door and Lucas follows. I open the door and gesture for him to go in
"Ladies first"
