I wake up to the sound of a car driving into the garage. I slide my slippers on and rub my eyes while walking to the window. When I look out the window I see a very happy Lissa getting her luggage out of the car. My eyes widen in shock. She's here already? I though she was coming at noon.. its not even.. I look at the clock that reads 1:30 pm. WHAT! I slept that long no way.. I go to the bathroom and brush my teeth, then I throw on a pair of jeans and a sweatshirt while i'm pulling my hair back into a neat ponytail. I walk over to the mirror and lift up my shirt admiring the way the baby hump looks. Then i feel a tear rush down my face and laugh as I say " I'm sorry you wont have a dad, but I will try to be the best parent in the world" I wipe the tears off my face and head downstairs and Lissa is already on the couch watching "The big bang theory" When she see's me she sighs in relief and says
"Thank god! I thought I was going to have to go up there myself and get you to wake up!" and she smiles
"Hahaha. No. I'm up. I actually woke up when you pulled in"
I laugh and she gets up and gives me a hug. At first i'm surprised and don't hug back but I relax and hug back. We stay that way until I feel water dripping down my leg. I look down and my eyes go wide. I back away from Lissa and scream
"OH MY GOODNESS! MY WATER JUST BROKE!!!!"
She looks at with wide eyes as well and quickly runs upstairs and returns with a bag filled with my clothes and a stake and I just stand there like a complete idiot! God I feel useless but its not my fault my stomach is SO big that I need help to even walk to the bathroom. Lissa grabs her keys along with the bag and helps me to the car.
When we arrive at the hospital Lissa is totally freaked out and is yelling at the desk lady
"UM HELLO!!!? MY FRIEND OVER THERE IS ABOUT TO HAVE HER BABY!!! CAN YOU HELP HER PLEASE!!"
I hear the lady whimper and say "i'm sorry mam we are getting her a room now"
A nurse comes over and leads me over to a hospital room and she hands me a nursing dress. After i change and get on the hospital bed the nurse reassures me that a doctor should be here shortly. I sit back and breathe heavily while I wait for the doctor.
