Rose's POV

My head is leaning against the tinted hotel window, watching as each rain drop makes their way from the sky to the ground. Ava is sleeping peacefully in my arms and I sing her a lullaby as I see her chest steadying and see my baby girl falling into a peaceful sleep.

I continue humming the tune. Until I can hear a slight snore. I put Ava into her crib and push it so it sways back and forth, in a calming manner.

I walk over to the light switch and turn it off. As I walk back to my bed I begin thinking, that's

when everything starts going downhill.

'Why does Ava have to be caught up in all this?

I dont want her hurt

I dont want her to turn out like me.'

I rest my head and think about what the future would be like. Because to me i believe the outcome will be running. Thats what we always end up doing. Running awaysfrom our problems.

Abe's POV

I was checking the population of strigoi in the area when my phone buzzed. I got up from my desk and grabbed it off the chair readin the ID name 'Trouble 2' I laugh at the new Id name I put Rose as and answered

"Hello" I said

i heard shuffling in the backround and asked again

"Hello, rose, is everything alright?" I wonder what she is doing

" Hey old man, sorry about that. Ava's bottle dropped" she said in between giggles. I love her giggles. They sound just like her moms

"Its okay Rosie.So why'd you call so late, its nearly 10:30 pm?" I ask

I hear her sigh through the phone

" I need help" oh great. what trouble has she gotten into this time?

But Ive got to help. She is my blood and flesh.

"Sure, what do ya need?" I say

"I need a safe haven" she said quietly , probably trying to make sure Ava dosen't wake up.

she's running again. i hope this is the last time.. i really do.

"I want to go somewhere where I will have some one to guard Ava and I and make sure no one find us. Dad im serious, im tired of running and im tired of being let down. I need this. So are you going to help" Wow, she only calls me dad when she is serious.

She sounds really desperate. I hate hearing my rose sound so beat down.

"Im in" I say quietly

"thanks old man" She says.

I think I know just the right place for her to go, And who to guard her.

"I think I know just the perfect place. Ill call you back in a minute. Let me just talk to some people get you a ticket and you can be on your way." I say

"Okay, thanks Old Man" I can just picture her smiling through the phone

"Rose are you 100% percent sure?" I ask curiously
