When I wake up, I wonder where I am. Memories of last night flash through my mind... Dimitri and Tasha kissing hurt me so much I never thought I could feel this pain. Then there's Lucas... The sweet, adorable hero that came to my rescue. Dimitri does this. He finally gains my trust ,that took so long to build, then he just.. breaks it. That was the last string. I need to forget him, Completely. Just me & Ava.
a knock comes to the door in the room that i'm in
"Rose? You awake?" Lucas walks in and smiles when he see's i'm awake
"Hey Lucas. I'm awake. Thank you for letting me stay overnight" I use the famous Hathaway Smile and laugh
"No problem.. " He makes an attempt to laugh but it comes out as a awkward cough
He brings ice to my head and the spot where I got hit throbs.
"You ok? You got hit pretty hard."
I touch the bump where he is holding the ice and wince from the pain.
"Um, it just stings a little bit. But other than that everything is fine. Thanks again for letting me stay here."
He laughs
"Seriously it was no problem at all. I enjoy helping beautiful women"
I blush and then look up to meet his eyes
"Well, I never thought my super hero would be so handsome!'
He blushes and he looks as if he is building up the courage to ask me something. He runs his fingers through his hair and then rests his hand on his neck. Oh great! the nervous gesture!
"So, I was wondering if.. um, If you would do the honor of going on a date with me on friday night?"
A DATE?! well he is really cute.. and kind. If things did work out he would be perfect to play the role of Ava's dad.. ok. Im going for it
"Yes. I would love to!" I get up and hug him
He looked shocked at first but gave in
"Why do you look so shocked?" I laugh
"Because, we just met and all.. I thought you would have turned me down."
Turn him down? Hahaha! How could you turn down such a pretty face?
"NO WAY! I could never pass down a date from such a pretty face. So where are you taking me on our date?"
He looks nervous
"Um, that's a surprise. You just got to wait and see"
Wait and see... ugh
"fine" I pout
He is so sweet. Perfect for Ava. OH MY GOD! AVA! I ALMOST FORGOT
"OH MY GOD" I panic and start standing up
Lucas looks at me with worried eyes
"What?!"
"I forgot I left my daughter at her grandma's house."
Olena would be considered grandma.. right?
He looks at me with wide eyes
" A daughter?"
I forgot, I didn't tell him
"yes.. I got pregnant at 18.. yea yea yea."
"Im not judging you it just you didn't look like you were a mom. "
I laugh'
"Yup, well that's what I am. Now if you don't mind can borrow your phone"
He pulls out an HTC out of his jacket and hands it to me
"Here"
"Thank you so much!" I hug him then go to the kitchen
I dial Viktoria's number and hit call. It rings for a little before she answers
"Hello?"
Thank god!
"Vik?"
She sighed in relief
"Rose! Thank god your okay, we have been worried"
"Sorry, It's been a long night."
She squeels
"Tell me all about it! Did you stay at a hotel with him? Because he didn't come home last night either.."
WHAT?! where was he all night then?.... Tahsa's house.
"Well. I didn't go see him and I need you to come pick me up. Let me ask Lucas for the address"
She yells through the phone
"LUCAS? Who in the world is LUCAS?! "
OH. god... here we go
"I will explain it to you later."
"Im coming!"
she ends the phone and i sit on the couch with Lucas. Waiting
