Unexpected Turn of Events

Chapter 25

JASMINES POV

"I thought I was taking your team on tour" I put my hand on my hips, looking around to see another player, but there was not a soul.

Tobias looked at me sheepishly and scratched the back of his neck "Welllllllll.... the team is pretty tired and didn't want to go right now and I knew that you were pretty busy so I convinced Coach and he said if you take me you wont have to take the whole team again" 

I lifted my eyebrows not believing him.

He let out a huge sigh.

"Fine, fine, I convinced the rest of the team AND Coach to let me go with you alone. Now I did a lot of work trying to convince them to leave us alone and convincing Coach is not an easy thing to do soooo if you dont mind I'd really like to get along with our date so we-"

I lifted my eyebrows again "d-d-date?"

Tobias's eyes widened "Did I say date" he let out a nervous chuckle " I meant, you know-"

"A double date" A deep voice came from behind me and I know just who it is.

Hardik

"What are you doing here" Tobias sneered

"Well Coach Sharma thought it would be a good idea for us to tag along. Something about "bonding time" which is stupid really what bonding am I supposed to do with an attention whore like her?" A squeaky high pitched voice responded.

Ohhh the irony 

I turn around to see both Maya and harDICK 

hehehe I'm funny

"Ok, let's get going" I let out a sigh "Coach got us a car already so-"

Maya pushes me and runs for the car, the only time I've ever seen her run.

"BABBBYYYYY IM GOING TO GET THE BACK SEAT FOR US ITS SOOO ROMANTIC!!"

Hearing this Tobias took off running to the back of the car as well.

I laughed at his childishness.

I started making my way to the car when I felt a hand on my wrist.

He pulled me straight into him. My hand unconsciously found themselves on his chest.

Our noses practically touching.

He brought his other hand on my waist pulling us impossibly closer.

"I dont share jasy. Let him know that, or he'll have to find out though me" 

He let out a humorless chuckle.

"And baby we both know that wont end well"

His nose moved down to the crook of my neck.

"You still use that jasmine perfume from college dont you?"

He looked into my eyes and I saw the softness that I once saw in his eyes in college.

He looked like the Hardick I knew. MY Hardick. The man I used to LOVE.

Shocked, I didn't trust my words so I nodded.

FLASHBACK 

"JASSSYYY!! JASY! JA-"

His eyes met mine through the reflection of the mirror.

"You look... you look... wow"

I smiled.

I was wearing a black bodycon dress that hugged my curves that were usually hidden with my baggy clothes.

I wore light makeup that brought out my eyes with a red lip.
