Ben 10: Alien League

The Beginning of the End

Ever since the ultimatrix incident Ben had been doing patrols all on his own. He didn't want to be around others for obvious reasons. He also was never home when the girls were. Even though he talked with Paradox, Ben felt too many things about this. Mainly he felt he was too dangerous to be around others at the time. So until the ultimate forms were corrected by Azmuth. Ben was keeping his distance.

Right now Ben was sitting at the local park on a bench alone. After searching for Lobo for days with no sign of him, ben decided to change how he searched for him. Using clockwork he found what he was looking for. Ben was just hoping the future wouldn't change. After all the future isn't set in stone, clockwork could peek into the future however if you change something you could alter the future and have a different outcome. Ben was only hoping that what he was doing didn't cause a huge ripple.

As Ben hoped, the future didn't change.

The justice league was having another meeting. The meeting was called because for some reason they were still unable to find lobo. Outside the meeting room was supergirl, powergirl, Crush and Caitlin. All of whom were very worried. Not just about Lobo, but Ben as well. All because of his strange behavior. As anyone would be.

"How was the search for ben going?" Caitlin asked. Supergirl and powergirl both had looked for Ben, however all they ever got was traces of him here and there.

"Same as always.... nada." Carol replied clearly irritated. Poison Ivy entered the waiting room and looked at the meeting room doors.

"They're still talking?" Ivy asked.

"What do you think?" Crush asked. Ivy didn't respond.

"Are you guys worried about ben?" Caitlin asked.

"No. Why would i." Ivy responded first.

"Maybe because he's distressed and feels burdened by his psychotic break." Carol said glaring at Ivy.

"Oh please. You girls are too soft. He'll be fine." Ivy replied.

"And what makes you so sure?" Carol argued, clearly irritated.

"Honey, i have a psychotic break every day." Ivy replied.

"But Ben isn't like you. He cares about people." Caitlin responded.

"I care about people." Ivy responded.

"You and your plants don't count." Kara responded.

"I do care about people besides myself sweetheart." Ivy said.

"Who?" Carol asked surprised.

"Harley." Ivy replied.

"That's only one person." Caitlin said.

"Well, i can't say i care for Ben. Right now he's just a interest of mine. Haven't quite decided if i like him or not." Ivy replied while looking at her fingers.

"And what do you plan to do if you decide you like him?" Carol asked. Ivy smiled

"Make him mine of course." She replied.

"What if he already has someone?" Carol asked.

"Aww. Sweetie. If you were dating him it be obvious. Just as it's obvious the three of you." Ivy pointed to Carol, Kara, and Caitlin "Are all after the same man." Ivy said. The three were silent. "However unlike you all, i'm don't just step aside when i find something i want. I use everything i have to get it." She said as she leaned over Carol and began to push out her chest, making them seemingly grow larger. "After all, what's the point of having these girls if your not gonna use 'em?" She asked. Carol didn't reply. Ivy then backed off and went to a chair to sit down.
